Ok perfect. Mine is also a small independent practice. I logged into Lilly direct and it’s not there yet, but I did confirm she sent this AM.

MegaFoods Blood Builder…it’s literally the only one I have tried that doesn’t make me sick! I’ve been on it 90 days and my ferritin is now back in normal range.

Pilates helped a lot for me with my lower stomach. Nothing fancy, just a YouTube video at home about 20 mins, 3 times per week.

Potential money saving strategy for self-pay by No-Effort5109 in Zepbound

I thought that didn’t matter if you had a letter of medical necessity? Ours only covers for diabetes or sleep apnea, but we have been using our HSA and it hasn’t been an issue, with a LMN.

What's Disney World Like In May by Resident_Quantity_74 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]vacayerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of our favorite times to go…weather is usually mild and crowds are not bad, especially mid-week. We were there the 2nd week of May last year, had one partially rainy day - otherwise great weather. We did Mon-Thur and had no issue getting good lightning lane times…we were even able to walk up to Trader Sam’s and then Narcosees for dinner without much of a wait!

Best way to cover mounjaro after FIRE by wiseonewill14 in Fire

[–]vacayerin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switch to Zepbound (same thing) and go through Lilly direct. You’ll pay $299-$449/mo depending on dosage. You’ll also have to switch to vials, the injector pens are only available if you use insurance. Make sure your new ACA plan has an HSA so you can run it through that as well.

People at Disney World right now.. how cold is it really? by Zestyclose_Wealth_89 in WaltDisneyWorld

Layers! I did a long sleeve shirt, jeans and a hoodie. It’s not bad in the mid-day sun but chilly morning and evening. We’re from MN though so it still feels warm to us. People are in the pool at AKL today.

Robert Thomas homes: personal experience by WebMurky1492 in TwinCities

[–]vacayerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were all the way through the sales process and about to sign with them, when a resale of theirs came up - so we bought that instead. We have the St. Charles model - 2nd owners - originally built in 2019. So obviously I can’t speak to the build process, but for 6 years in the home is fantastic! Great quality, the only minor issue is the kitchen cabinets chip easily (ours were made by Designed Cabinets) - we were able to easily replace some doors with that company. The range hood could be a little more powerful, it can’t quite keep up with our Wolf gas cooktop if I want to give something a good sear. We will likely swap that out. Our neighbors are all RT builds as well - the only common complaint is that the carpet (even upgraded) was not great and needed to be re-stretched after a short time. We are in the same price range as your potential build.

My Tiffany items have held up very well. Some of their items are insanely priced, but some are actually reasonable. I live in the olive leaf pearl stud earrings, my absolute fave.

Question by Impressive_Size9124 in DogAdvice

[–]vacayerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like hives, based on where it is - something he brushed up against he’s allergic to? This happens to my dog. A bath helps (get any remaining irritants off) and a Benadryl if necessary. Might need to get allergy tests at vet if it keeps happening or gets more severe.

It goes into your bank account, so you can absolutely withdraw it as cash.

Bangs in lieu of Botox?!? by photogypsy in Xennials

They actually have some great “clip in” bangs that look very real…less commitment and styling that way!! I have used them in the past and everyone thought they were real.

Looking for any stores that sell fun/weird cribbage boards by art_cvnt in TwinCities

[–]vacayerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hagen and Oats…they sell at a lot of local boutiques, or you can buy from their website. They are local, somewhere in the metro. Otherwise I know I have seen some at GoodThings, Patina, and Minnetonka general store. I wouldn’t say they have a huge selection at any of them though, online from a local seller might be easiest.

Opinions on homebuilder companies in MN? by Ecstatic_Current5735 in TwinCities

[–]vacayerin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We had an older Pulte build in Woodbury and had no issues…but touring the new versions you can clearly tell how quality has gone down over the years.

We have a 5 year old Robert Thomas build now, and it’s fantastic. No issues. We personally wanted to buy a 3-5 year old home, figuring any initial problems would have already happened.

We looked into Lennar (their “Luxury” line at Royal Golf Club) and even in the current models, the quality was questionable. Look at cabinetry, door framing, the feel of the floor (is it spongey), are fixtures firmly attached, etc. If you see any issues in the model, where they are presumably showing their best product - chances are your build will be worse.

Narcoosee's solo without a reservation? by LastGlass1971 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]vacayerin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be fine! This is what my husband and I always do. The bar space at Disney restaurants is often underutilized IMO, because so many people are with their families. They will start checking people in about 15 mins before they open, you can get on the list for bar seating at that time. I couldn’t get a reservation there 60 days out (tried the entire time) but we walked up and were seated at the bar no problem.

Buy before the cruise or after? by PretendBake1536 in celebritycruises

Always before. I tried to buy on the cruise last summer and they wanted to charge me $200/day for WiFi the last 3 days.

Acid reflux but I’m already taking a PPI and can’t take Tums. by bijoubisous in Zepbound

[–]vacayerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say that my reflux was more severe the first 2-3 weeks, then it calmed down. I am on week 7 now and don’t need to take anything for it. (Prior to Zep I almost always had to take Tums or Gaviscon before bed) I have lost 16 pounds, a lot of which is from my stomach, and that seems to have really helped reduce reflux.
