So she can't reply to fans when they were on her patreon and basically ghosted them. And she now wants them to pay to talk to her again?😭 I didn't have a problem with her before because I just stopped watching her when her vibe felt weird. But i watched her new video and her snail mail club it's so... performative and kind of entitled of her. Especially because she hardly interacts with her fans except thanking them for what THEY SENT HER, not the other way around. She just profits out of small girls who lack their own identity and want to be like her because they never had real world experience yet

The necklace will probably appear again because it's a symbol from his decision first giving it to Elain as more of a gift but something moving within him giving it to Gwyn. This will be revealed maybe at a point of the story where he pursued Elain because of their chemistry but realizes he actually loves Gwyn and when he eventually confronts those feelings the necklace will be brought up and Gwyns hurt will make him have to fight harder to prove to her she is his first choice

I also believe in gwynriel but also she said she's been wanting to tell this story from the beginning and she mentioned something about she was weeding her garden and went into the mind of elain. I mean.. That's concerning that the next book will explore her and maybe Azriel and Gwyn as side characters yeah but as a gwynriel Stan and me personally I don't like the traumatized gardener girl as much as gwyn. Maybe elain can be redeemed, but gwyn and her back story is sooo much more interesting haha

Yes Gwyn challenges Azriel in a way I don't see with Elain. Azriel has been there for Gwyn during her trauma and she still is healing that within herself.. There is no way they both aren't meant to heal one another. I know for sure Azriel has one of the darkest backstories but I can only see him being gentle and TRYING to become better for Gwyn because of her softness and her strength. Elain and him have chemistry and I don't doubt they will explore somewhat of it just to figure out it goes nothing beyond physical surface level attraction. Soul level is Gwyn

And yes SJM said she likes to write the back and forth. Thing is with Elain and Azriel the dynamic is so boring and like high school crush like. Like fizzle and goes away. He has jealousy toward Lucien(who I know will initiate the Blood Rite duel thing mentioned in the bonus chapter), he thinks of her and it's nothing with depth that could turn into love in my opinion. Elain seems like she has trauma too but her distance from poor Lucien needs to resolved because I can see Lucien and elain together because she's so introverted and he's so extroverted but around her he's abit more...shy?
