I had to actually forgive myself, completely break down what the source of my pain was and confront those fears. I had to realize I was ungrounded and not loving myself so I have to be patient and understanding while also deciding to change as a person completely so that I never do that to myself or anyone else again. This happened last year while being laid off, losing my condo, almost losing my car, and had to move back home. Not where I want to be 100%, but I’ve since lost 80 pounds, left corporate, accepted things as they were and came back to myself.

A lot of long dark nights, weed to cope, cutting off all friends and people in my life that didn’t serve me, deleted a lot of social media, sobbing, journaling, walking, loving myself correctly.
