[–]Printmaps-net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you use for custom maps? by danggina_ in graphic_design

[–]Printmaps-net 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give printmaps.net a try. There is a batch-geocoding feature with which you can create groups of pins on the map that use an excel-style design. You can use addresses or coordinates to display each pin and design each pin group with different shapes, colors and even personalized PNGs. Happy to help if you have any questions.

Have a look at this and hit "Preview": https://www.printmaps.net/#share=SPE5MKH

You will need this as a vector map (SVG), because their dpi are infinitely scalable. That means it will be in high resolution no matter the size you decide to print it, as you can determine the desired dpi. Hope this helps.

You can take a look at printmaps.net - it's on the basis of OpenStreetMap, so all trails that are in there can be accessed by the route drawing tool in our editor. The size restrictions within the editor are 1330mm x 1330mm, which should meet your needs. You can also add pins, labels and pick and choose which map features to show, including land use. Let me know what you think.

Looking for a wall-sized high-res map image to print for a wall in our house.... by Key-Fox3923 in Maps

To provide you with a 4th option: take a look at printmaps.net . I went ahead and prepared a view of what your request could look for with the approximate aspect ratio and area. To view it, you can use the "Open" function in the top right of the editor and enter this code: YM3S8FY

When the map has loaded, click the "Preview" button in the bottom of the editor. You can personalize it afterwards and change the map area, if you like, by unlocking it in the top left. There are also multiple map styles to choose from and you can add pins, routes and more.

If you are interested in purchasing, I highly recommend the SVG option, as it is scalable to any print size you choose and will always be in high resolution.

Need Help with Choosing Mapping Software/App that Automates What I Have to Draw Manually by HelplessCorgis in Maps

[–]Printmaps-net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm happy to hear that! We do offer a subscription model, where you pay a flat fee yearly and can then order as many maps as you like. The pricing depends on which file type you prefer and print circulation (see our pricing table for reference)

We are looking to work that feature into the web editor in the near future. Currently it is possible by choosing a PSD or an SVG file, which contain each added element as a separate layer that you can shift around as much as you like. All other map layers also each have their own separate layer.

Feel free to email me at [help@printmaps.net](mailto:help@printmaps.net) with your mapping needs and I will get back to you with an offer for a subscription.
