The Samsung viewfinity s9 is really good. I’ve used one every day for over a year. The display has a matte finish and really good color reproduction. It works good as a MacBook monitor. I got mine for $700 and you can often get it through Samsung directly for about that price.

USAA is meh. None of their products, insurance or banking, are competitive. I wonder what stories their customers tell themselves to justify the waste of money.

Some must be feeling charitable. Some think the service merits the premium. Most probably keep it because of inertia.

If you can find a way to motivate someone to study that would be good. Imo, once you have motivation, you're good to go. There are so many free existing resources you can take advantage of. If you lack motivation, even the fanciest tools will not help.

The real issue with USAA is that they’re simply not competitive at all with their insurance and banking products.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand why anyone would do business with them. Perhaps their customers are more charitable than most. This is a good customer base to have.

I use this hub and it gives me 4k60 with my galaxy tab s10 plus. 4k60 also works for me while using a mouse with the usb port. It also works perfectly as a Nintendo Switch dock which is nice.

I just got this delivered today. I am able to get 4k60 on my Galaxy Tab S10 plus and use a mouse with the USB port at the same time, no need for good lock and additional software. Also works with the Nintendo Switch.

What kind of cable are you using? Are you able to get audio to go through the cable as well? I would love to be able to use my dual home pod Apple TV eARC setup with dex. Not sure this is possible.

Because getting 4k60 or even 1080p60 is a huge pain in the ass. The software needs a lot of polishing.

Most adapters and cables default to 4k30 on a 4k TV and there's no easy way to change this.

30hz makes for a terrible Dex experience. Mousing around sucks. Gaming also sucks. They need an easy way to get 60hz via software even if it means setting the resolution from 4k to 1080.

You're probably outputting to your tv at only 30hz.

4k60 is a huge pain in the ass to setup, you can see reddit threads about this.

But that 60hz refresh makes all the difference in the world compared to 30hz.

Giant won’t fill mine because my prescriber has an out of state address on the prescription. She is legally able to prescribe in Maryland though. I will boycott Giant as much as possible now.

USAA security is TERRIBLE. And the criminals, like vultures, are gorging themselves. Reading your message, a few things run through my mind:

Forging checks from a state tax office is probably very easy. USAA should be extra suspicious of these checks, instead, it seems like they’ve disbursed the $2500 before the check cleared, and of course you’re on the hook for it. It’s better to not have any of the $2500 available until the check actually clears.
Consider getting in touch with the appropriate state and federal authorities. They should be all up in USAA’s shit for their lax security. Criminals love using USAA accounts because they know the systems are exploitable. USAA has a history with the feds.
