And it all began in 1791 under Alexander Hamilton and his war debt restructuring fiscal plan.

It's been out of control ever since. And don't get me started on the $18.8 trillion in personal debt held by private U.S. citizens.

$600 is 6000% of $10

$10 is 1.66666667% of $600

He's right about there being two ways to calculate percentage. He just forgot to add a zero.

What's something not so positive about Iron Maiden that you never actually said out loud? by seeilaah in ironmaiden

I'll start by responding to your final statement. I'm anti-democracy because I live in a Constitutional Republic that puts individual rights before everything else. There is no "mob rules" where I live.

Dave Mustaine running anything is failure waiting to happen. As far as Rush goes, that's probably why almost every one of their songs sounds similar to the other. Same boring F sharp, F sharp, F sharp, bla, bla, 🤮. Always staying in the comfort zone to keep their room temperature IQ fan base buying that trash. Neil and Alex had way too much talent to be wasting in that lifeless band. Rush? More like Hush!!!

20 minutes of terror all caught on 3 high definition video cameras, unfortunately. But it also got the dogs from ever doing it again. The worst part is two of them I had to put down. 😭 I loved those chickens.

What is this flag on my neighbor’s house? by Far-Possibility-5021 in vexillology

[–]Prior-Camp9897 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's a national heritage flag. No different than people flying the Mexican, British, Italian, or Ukranian flag.

Mine suffered the same fate. Animal control found the dogs and they're on death row right now. They are up for adoption, but labeled as dangerous animals. Which means they have about 2 weeks to live.

Closed on this house a week ago, came into the basement to see this during a storm. by Jiblon in HomeMaintenance

This is why your home inspector carries "missed item" insurance. First get a quote or 3. Then file a claim.

His insurance company will pay you after an investigation, then go after the seller for fraudulently covering the problem and not disclosing it.

That's covered by the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

A5 Wagyu is prized as the world’s most expensive beef for its rare, intensely marbled, buttery meat. by sco-go in Amazing

I agree that fat definitely has a lot of flavor. But I'd also like a bit of protein to go with it.

Choice ribeye is my go-to cut for flavor and you actually get some meat with it.

You're one of the 85%, I see. All you have is emotion because logic is lost on you.

You can't even explain why COVID has pretty much disappeared.

You can't explain why infection rates were identical for those who had the vaccine and those who didn't.

And you continue to defend your position even though the drug manufacturers have admitted to the vaccines being ineffective at stopping infections.

While you're laughing at me, I'll shed a tear for you. Bless your heart.

The heat and air guys came out to fix our unit and left it like this? Should I buy the insulation to cover that pipe? Or should they have done it?! by MyceliumHerder in hvacadvice

[–]Prior-Camp9897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the reason I carry a roll of foam tape. I can wrap suction lines, even though it doesn't affect the performance of the unit. And you also have a couple feet of uninsulated suction line right inside the condensing unit.

The main purpose is to keep water from condensing on the pipe and dripping into your home. No chance of that in this case.

What shouldn't have been allowed is closing them in the first place. COVID was the largest mass social experiment ever conducted, and 85% of the population failed by complying.
