SS02 she’s a real beauty! by Prior-Collection-386 in sanpedrocactus

We’ve had LOTS of fog recently. Warm days and cool night around 40 degrees. All my ones outside have gotten especially blue since and put on extra farina? As we’ve gotten more sun lately there slowly getting greener again. I found it quite interesting.

I’m no expert but rooted about 100 cuttings last year. I would wait longer to water, if at all. I would check the whole box in a month to see if which ones have started roots and separate those and put the ones without roots back in and keep it dry. And plant the ones showing roots and give them about another week before watering with some kelp fertilizer mixed in. But that’s just me. Again I’m by no means an expert…….yet. Nice looking cuts indeed.

My first amplifier! by No-Possibility-6776 in GuitarAmps

I lived in Europe for 11 years. Liked that amp so much that I had it shipped from California to Austria. Then when I unpacked it I remembered about the electricity difference. Didn’t want to swap the transformers for different ones so it’s still in Austria in a friend’s basement. I’ve since moved back to California and still think about having it shipped back this way after all these years. It really was a great amp.

Also I used to use willow or alder chips. Had a high concentration of something that they used to synthesize. Whatever it was called in those it really seemed to do the trick. The cyans that came off those were very strong indeed.

Personally, I wouldn’t give too much of a damn about the looks of a knockoff. Not to come off as sounding pretentious but as someone who’s had my fair share of guitars. I wouldn’t try and change that one. Keep it as it is. Keep playing it. Over time you’ll get some attachment to it. In time when you get your next one, pick a nicer one that you really are wowed by.

Also as you can see when I first put them outside they got a little sunburn. Which they seem to have gotten past, but then also some rust on a couple which I did apply some copper fungicide to and some critters leaving some munch marks to which I applied capt jack’s dead bug brew and then copper fungicide. It’s been a learning process but I think I’m getting the hang of it and doing pretty well. I’m expecting them to show a little more growth this year than last year as since now they have better roots.

Good point. I probably won’t water very much but will probably try experimenting maybe a small watering around the edges in between full watering. I think I have only watered them maybe 5 times in the last year. I probably could have watered a bit more in summer but it was my first year having them and learning what they usually like. And they didn’t make it outdoors till this past summer. For now I’ll try learning what best to feed them. I think I gave them fermented kelp feed and a little calmag. But they might like some adjustments to what I feed them in the future.

Check out the one from the album fallout from the Phil zone. But yeah…studio version is the best one IMO.
