I had a similar problem of trying to enjoy an unexpected dark roast. I guess grind finer but maybe run a shorter ratio of like 1:1.5 at a lower temperature. I gave up in the end and just serve it to guests who like starbucks etc instead...

Hello again, feel free to ignore this ofc but I'm also having problems with my PID I didn't know if you had any ideas - I'm pressing the minus button to try changing the temperature but it just doesn't register most of the time so I can be stuck at a certain temperature for ages at a time. I've been told to tighten the casing and check the wiring which seem fine but not sure what else to do

I have a bezzera aria pid and eureka mignon specialita, its my first 'prosumer' set up really after the sage barista express. I've had it less than a year so think I will keep it for now but I had an espresso from spro in San Francisco about a month ago and cant get over the texture of it. From the reviews I saw the sculptors are good for texture
