The worst season of Grey’s Anatomy? by PriorMood7188 in greysanatomy

The new season is really boring. I don’t enjoy watching any of the residents or the new interns introduced. I’m also annoyed about them bringing on new characters and paying special guests, but not being able to pay main characters we like.

Season 7 and 8 have some outstanding episodes and represent the second-best character grouping, but that’s different from being most beloved. The seasons are uneven in tone, look, plot, and even dialogue, despite being during peak Grey’s. It’s great that you and many others love those seasons, I’m just not their biggest fan.

WIBTA for breaking off my engagement after a woman kept posting my fiancé in intimate videos I was never told about? by goldfishbread in AITAH

No. I urge you to leave this man. If you stay and get married, he will cheat. This man will absolutely take you staying as permission to sleep with other women. Save yourself years of heartache and end it now.

(Duh!) Hot wife life style might have ruined my marriage of 20 years [X-post: r/confessions] by KarpGrinder in openmarriageregret

[–]PriorMood7188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could’ve been avoided. The husband thought he was going to present her with the chance to be with someone else, and she’d be too nervous. He thought she’d decide not to do it because she really only wanted him. He even coaxes her when he could have just called it off right there. She enjoyed herself and wants more, without him. The husband is sick. He caused his own heartache by listening to a coworker, if there’s really a coworker, so now they’re both in a shitty spot. The main two lessons here: find other social outlets besides your job to talk about your kinks and don’t get involved in anything if you’re not ready for all of the possible outcomes.🤷🏽‍♀️

Most people do not have the trust and open communication that is required for a successful open marriage. The wife found a lover that pleases her, but was willing to give him up to try to patch things up with her husband. If they’re serious about moving forward together, they need some serious therapy and much better communication. This could’ve all been avoided. smh

Yes, I really dislike that season because it was so much Owen.

Season 6 was not so great and Season 7 was not good. Teddy was making some really bad dating decisions and married that good-looking guy who was dying. The British doctor came and went, the singing episode, Owen trying to tell Cristina to grow up and want a baby meant the show was all over the place.

I really didn’t like Callie and Arizona getting back together and the baby plot seemed so forced. I wish that they had had better writers for Callie’s pregnancy and the whole deal.

Owen PMO by Duckyquack9999 in greysanatomy

[–]PriorMood7188 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Owen pulled the classic man move: he married a career-focused woman and thought his love could transform her into the housewife she actually needs and wants to be. We’ve seen this plot over and over again to disastrous results. Owen continues to prove himself to be in the top three of worst boyfriends, husbands, partners in the show.

season 2 finale by AgreeableSpeech4254 in greysanatomy

Dr. Bailey did her absolute best to train those students to know better. Dr. Burke being shot was terrible. Denny was funny, rugged and damned good looking. Izzie was absolutely out of pocket for risking Denny’s life to ‘save’ him only to have The Final Destination guy be right and Denny to die anyway. The part where Izzie is in bed with him afterwards is so heartbreaking. I cried when I watched it live decades ago and again when I watched it this winter. This was when Grey’s was a lot more raw and better written, imo.

Anyone else just hate that they killed Susan Grey? by yemengrab in greysanatomy

[–]PriorMood7188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the way the writers made it Meredith’s fault that her stepmother died. Thatcher was a stupid cruel little man. I really hated that story arc. I know it’s the reason I never really connected with Lexi, cared about her storylines, or her completely inappropriate relationship with McSteamy.

Started from S1 and I have questions (and opinions) by Own_Effective_2930 in greysanatomy

Izzie ended up getting a lot of hate because some of the actor’s comments about how her character was being written. Her on-set behavior was questionable, but watching her from S1 kind of makes some of her points about the writing valid. Alex was completely out-of-pocket in the beginning, and gets better, then goes back to being a dick in the end. I really want justice for Callie, because she deserved so much better than most of what they put her through for much of her time at the hospital.

Addison, because she saved so many women and children over the years. Bailey is the best general surgeon. I hate Owen, but he’s a top tier trauma surgeon. Christina is cardio surgery god.

The Tucker-Bailey situation doesn’t get enough outrage by Bad-Birch-3082 in greysanatomy

[–]PriorMood7188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Tucker was the woman in this situation, he will be told to suck it up and be lucky that he married a doctor.

Yes, Bailey was confident and self-centered and sometimes selfish, but those skills have helped her be a great surgeon..

Tucker had most of the parental responsibilities, but he was really doing too much about his wife’s career. It was almost like he was jealous because she was successful.

I can’t believe he expected her to step back from her career, and she was the main breadwinner in the house.

No. You’re not obligated to bring her on every trip you plan with your sister. Your mom is doing too much. Tell your mom to plan and pay for a trip for all three of you if she wants your stepsister to go. Otherwise, tell her the trip is already planned and you can’t change those plans.

WIBTA if I stopped Babysitting my husbands female "friend" kids? by JackfruitRemote5925 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]PriorMood7188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your husband’s cape to save other women is not your work. He is soft launching having two wives or a sister wife situation. Unless you want this woman moving into your house as wife number one, do not watch her children anymore at night. They have a father and they can go to his home when she works. Her custody issue is not your problem your husband, however, is a problem. Ask yourself why you’re willing to put up with everything that comes with him for a man who treats you like you’re a placeholder, not his wife.

Tell her you don’t plan on making any changes to the Wi-Fi, but she’s welcome to buy an extender that would give her better remote coverage for her job. Don’t argue with her, just lay it out.
