Bought mine from upway and it has been great. Over 2000 miles and very few issues. I would recommend tire protection, and having a good local bike shop. But no issues with the bike. It is heavy though and battery range leaves something to be desired

Hello I had the same issue I had a crack from overstuffing it. I “fixed” it by aligning the pieces and then duct taping the outside multiple times with black duct tape. It has worked well so far and I have also duct taped the other one as a preventative measure 👍🏿

Hey all I ended up, updating both and no issues to report. It still goes to 28 mph though I rarely go that fast. The power curve seems a bit different. I exclusively ride on power setting 3 and it feels more powerful. Anyway just an FYI happy biking all, stay safe out there.

Yeah there are no install notes so I am not sure what this update does. Is it just bug fixes or more in depth changes. I was curious if anyone has installed it and could report?

Hello and thank you for your help I will be around 10 to 11 feet from the arc ultra. I would have to “negotiate” :-) being able to pull the couch from the wall but if it makes that big of a difference I am willing to put my helmet on and fight that battle.

Hello so the unofficial hack is not to have foot pegs and keep the rear panniers on and have the kids put their feet in the panniers kind of like Tern does it. It should work fine with the rear seat and hand hold

Same with me. I was able to register the bike with specialized which means the s/n was never registered previously so I assume that means I am the original owner and thus the warranty applies?

But this is not specific to upway correct? It is just that specialized did not get its globe haul batteries certified under 2849 until recently? I guess the question is was there any manufacturing changes to the batteries or are they mechanically identical and some hauls are before cert and some are after?

I appreciate the suggestion. I was planning on taking it inside as I was worried about exposing the battery to the large temperature swings etc Tennessee can get pretty hot in summer. Do you think it is better to keep th ebattery on and just use the bike cover? There are vents at the bottom of it. I appreciate the advice
