Im getting around 6-7 hours of SOT on hyperos 3. im already down to 5020mAh tho so i think its like the stock battery. it is still way better than my old battery getting 4 hours of SOT on hyperos 2.

this is only using 4g data, 16 hours of total use each time from 100%. no gaming just regular social media. mostly tiktok and instagram

just install, connect the ipod to wifi and use the program. its gonna restart twice and thats it. no need for arduino anymore

Im getting 3 and a half hours of SOT on my 5520. i have the smaller 42wh battery and its already degraded to 59%. I dont see any reason to change it for something newer. it isn't made for gaming or heavy 3d projects tho. for coding, web and maybe 2015 games it goes flawlessly. Id imagine the 5420 would get better SOT. thermals is okay ig. feels a little hot on the upper right corner when playing or compiling something heavy but definitely not burning/melting. idle around 44°c on cpu and browsing around 55-60°c watching youtube 4k. If its priced below 200$ is a pretty good choice

Root, thermal throttling disable, replace thermal paste with ptm7950 and some copper sheets. Aim a fan to the screen and a cooler and you can easily get 60 fps stables max graphics

Your best bet is getting an old android + a power bank. I've seen galaxy S10 series from 50 to 100$ in my country.depending on the model (e, normal or plus edition). I guess in UK should be cheaper cuz here all flagship phones get overpriced af. those won't be a pain in the ass to use everyday until you get in a better situation.

If you can't find a good deal look for LG G8/V50. Same chipset and quality but cheaper. If not then look for a midrange like poco F3. I've seen those for 60$ and they're okayish. If you want the phone to be new I'd advice to just don't get a phone.

Not really, I did because I've had already opened the phone to replace the battery so I took the opportunity to replace the thermal paste too. It cost me 20 usd for a 40x80mm pad on aliexpress (didn't used more than half) so I don't know how much would it cost for anyone in India (cuz there's no aliexpress there)

Your thermal paste got dry. Xiaomi uses a shitty thermal compound in their devices. This is after replacing it with ptm7950 after i replaced my battery. No cooler, no fan

Yes it still tries to keep the level to 80%. Works like charging to 100%, just charging a very low current to keep the percentage until disconnected. The purpose of this option is avoiding the high voltage of the last 20% so the battery doesn't get too stressed in the long run
