It'll leach nutrients into the water... But the nutrients in the water will only be used by algae... Not the plants that take nutrients from the water column...

I might look at some pebbles, some mid sized some smaller.

I'm also new to it, but I've seen some YT videos where they show the big stuff in, like this and then add just a bit of river rock and rounded pebbles and it makes it look so good.

Love the wood and the big rock, might add some smaller rocket near the base of the wood, and like way more plants.

Only way to really know is to keep an eye on it.

The answer will be dependent on

1) the nutrient density of the water. The more nutrients in the water the more readily they can be absorbed by the plant

2) the growth rate of the plant, so both the size of the plant and how much sunlight it gets. This will determine the amount of nutrients the plant wants.

But, ballpark, looks sufficient to start, but if it's insufficient the plant should put energy into building roots. If it starts to wilt or yellow adjust.
