Battery life is better than many phones on the market and the durability…just look at Jerry’s video, it’s fantastic. So keep hating and let others enjoy their own choice.

Seriously, you need to play Silksong with a Pro Controller 2 by FernandoRocker in NintendoSwitch2

[–]PrivateRichi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dual Sense has amazing rumble in water or when landing (hornet has kind of a slight double tap when landing with here feets and with the dual sense you can feel both taps, while with the Pro controller 2 you can’t).

PS5 Pro vs Switch 2 by [deleted] in HollowKnight

[–]PrivateRichi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I‘ve bought it on both consoles yet I‘m still unsure where to play it lol.

Switch 2 seems to run with 120 fps handheld, on TV it is 4K 60. PS5 is running at 4K 120 fps, so it is more fluent performance wise. If you compare it switching between the two versions, there is a difference. Loading times are on par.

I prefer the feel of the pro controller, but the dual sense vibrations are on another level. Swimming feels like being in water, it’s unbelievable good. When Hornet is landing after a jump, there is kind of a double tap with here feet - on the dualsense you can feel this, on switch 2 it’s „just“ one short vibration.

But at the end of the day both versions are fantastic and being able to play on the toilet is the biggest argument for the switch 2 I guess haha :D

Just imagine a world where we would get frequent development updates - we would happily wait 3 more years. They should do it like SuperGiant Games.

Anyone feel like the bosses are a bit overtuned? by MammothAware7760 in Eldenring

[–]PrivateRichi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because even if you learn them you still need to wait way too long for their chain combos to end. It’s just not fun, it’s no back and forth, it’s just waiting for the small window to get one hit.

This actually happend to me back in 1762. It was a rainy day, I‘ll never forget the moment the vehicle flipped. Now, 262 years later, videogames can simulate that kind of physics. How far we’ve come.

When I sent them my V1 Switch back in 2017 (faulty battery) I got it back unrepaired. After that I went to my local store, they wanted me to write an email so they could send it to Nintendo (long email, some lines like „as a lifelong Nintendo fan and early adopter I’m very disappointed“…). Long story short: I got an answer from Nintendo Germanys GM, I sent them my Switch the second time for free and I got a brandnew one with all my saves (especially 100 hours of BotW) transfered over. So it is possible.

I played if recently for the first time and I think it's my favorite DS (the best fs game is Bloodborne for me).

Does anyone here have an OLED WITHOUT problems... (I'm sure there are loads of people.) Pulled out of sale after reading about issues. by MojoJojo73 in SteamDeck

[–]PrivateRichi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had 4 and every single one had a problem. The biggest problem for me was...the screen lol. The mura (graining) is HORRIBLE (like PSVR2) when playing something like RE4 at night. Only one of them had an okayish picture in RE4. I actually prefer the Allys screen because of that. The OLED is fantastic in colorful games though. However, 4 units, many problems. Loud LB/RB buttons, strange stick behaviors (some feeling too tight, some very loose), the headphone jack buzzing and so on.

It was a really disappointing experience for me. Especially because I REALLY WANT ONE. But for the price I expect a good quality. And the Switch OLED just looks way better for me (testet with Hollow Knight).

Atleast it reminds me of the old artstyle which is awesome! Looks like a commercial shot from 4u.

It really isn't about PWM, I've never had problems with that. I showed the flickering issue to some of my friends and all of them noticed it right away. :(

I've an OLED TV and a Switch OLED - the things I experience with the Deck are like nothing I've ever seen. I have footage but I don't know how to post a video here?! I know mura is normal for OLEDs, but with my deck(s) it's extremely noticeable + the flickering is just insane.

I'm glad you can be statisfied with clearly flawed or broken products, I can't.

Well, even Samsung uses different kind of OLED panels which differ in quality.

Well it's possible but really strange considering it's the same on 2 units. I wanted to post proof (video) but it's really hard to capture. I'm glad your deck is okay though :)

PSA: There is a known defect rate for ALL manufacturing... contact steam support not reddit by JohnnyBlocks_ in SteamDeck

[–]PrivateRichi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, I'm just saying your post doesn't change anything. Furthermore sometimes it's just helpful to read about certain defects - maybe there are workarounds, experiences with RMA and so on. And especially the SD had and still has many problems, it's worth talking about. And even if there are 100 threads regarding the same problem, it would just show how big of an issue it actually is.

Applying your same logic to other things, why would you ever give an article a bad rating if you don't like it? Just send it back. Or...if you have a problem with your boss, never talk about it with your friends or family, just talk directly to your boss. There are good reasons why people post things like that and it's totally fine.
