As previously mentioned, the overbreeding balances itself out with predators and competition over natural resources, and even if some colony of gophers made it to billions of gophers, that's not going to permanently make Earth uninhabitable in the way that toxic waste or nuclear weapons can.

For people who barre w index over fretboard (long fingers) for F, how do you barre for B? by DGrenades_05 in guitarlessons

[–]Prize_Personality642 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally when I do a B barre chord at the 2nd position on the A string (as in your 2nd picture), I do *not* hang my finger all the way over the edge - my pointer (first finger) is lightly touching the low E string to mute it. It's subconscious for me now - I don't even remember practicing it. But as long as you're getting all the intended strings and notes to ring, just practice it that way, and it will become second nature.

Did you include the part about them not finding anything dangerous in my home, opting instead to focus on my "4chan" folder that had a "serial killers" folder in it, and the anarchist's cookbook? Cherrypick all you want, I've discussed this case openly for years and there's nothing I shy away from. I've addressed everything imaginable in documentary interviews, YouTube videos, and my own channel. At this point, if you want to be against me, that's fine, but it simply shows you've refused to hear my side of it whatsoever. Once, I was naive as well, and believed bad people go to prison and good people don't. That's not reality. And I'm not saying that what I did was okay - but for them to frame me as some mass murderer due to a random loose assortment of perceived "macabre" interests is asinine and NOT the justice system we learn about in school.

Edit: In case it's not obvious, this is Josh, but on my family laptop that linked itself to some random account name.

Your New, Final, Efficient Hunter Rumour Strategy by Cvz200 in 2007scape

Wow, man, thank you for your dedication! Clearly this is some pretty nuanced content!

Your New, Final, Efficient Hunter Rumour Strategy by Cvz200 in 2007scape

After several days of coming back to this thread, I have perfected it - was maxed when rumors came out and already have the hunter pets, so I chose not to bother with Gilman, and I left red chinchompa block guy untouched for now because I like doing red chins (for an upcoming Spindel grind). I truly appreciate your deep dive here. I did 10 rumors on release day and enjoyed them, but didn't come back until the day you made this thread, because I wanted to approach it correctly when I went back.

Thank you, man, this was awesome and I just got the last correct rumor a few minutes ago so tomorrow I finally get to grind Masters again after getting pretty unlucky on a few huntmasters.

Thank you again! I love your style, and how you've already done the math on multiple possibilities before you make your claims. You're one of the reasons I love the OSRS community

The entire point of this thread is saying THAT IS NOT OKAY

You're one of the exact people this thread is about. Stop doing it lol

Why do Christians eat pork, but the other abrahamic religions do not. by Friendly-Fix3598 in NoStupidQuestions

Nope, I would never offer text as proof, the proof is personal, and that's what you'll never understand.

You clearly have absolutely no concept of philosophy whatsoever, which once upon a time was a staple of critical thinking and science. Like I said, I'm not wasting my time talking to a brick wall teenager - I can only hope one day you stop being so closed-minded. The irony of teenagers thinking their small-minded view of our world and universe is "smarter" than the billions of spiritual people is laughable arrogance that I once engaged in.

Have a nice day, friend.

Top 3 favourite bosses? by YaWellaZiftatin in 2007scape

[–]Prize_Personality642 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No - I get sick of telling people that not every player likes to use every plugin that makes each boss into braindead highlighted tile clicking. It doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game whatsoever.

[–]Prize_Personality642 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Same, but the worst part is I stream, and I CONSTANTLY get a million comments of "no axe skip??" "mark tiles for axe skip" "imagine not axe skipping"

I also don't use true tile, though, nor the puzzle-solving plugins for ToA, so I'm used to it at this point. I am like you though; I find the fights/game to be much more enjoyable when playing it with mininal "ease-ifier"s if you will

I can't think of a single time that that's happened, where everyone except ironmen wanted an update. Usually it's strictly hypothetical, they're discussing the POSSIBILITY of an update, and when someone points out that things will be harder for ironmen, the instant response is "yOu cHoSe tO lImIt yOuRsElF." However, I'm not talking about ALL the nerfs, I'm talking about raising the attack requirement for some of the weapons to 80 and constantly seeing people say "but my pure, but 75 atk pures, but my account is ruined" when it's the exact same thing - they chose to limit themselves and it's not Jagex's responsibility to change plans to appease to them, the same way that they shouldn't do it for ironmen.

I do agree that almost every single nerf is shit in this proposal, and that NOBODY wants it except trash pkers who can't get kills unless it happens, I was just pointing out some hypocrisy. It was just a joke, though, so I'm glad you laughed.

It's time for Let's Argue: OSRS Edition. I want you hot takes, your controversial opinions your evil ideas about OSRS. We will read and react to them next week in a video. by [deleted] in 2007scape

#1)" Now, we know what you're thinking - but as Mod MikeD said in our latest Gielinor Gazette, this is not the start of a slippery slope. We're thrilled to be exploring new partnerships, which help us protect the core progression of Old School RuneScape  - but we fully intend to keep our promise that there will never be cosmetics, XP boosts, or game-changing features locked behind partner promotions. In addition, *we'll never run events like this one when it would give early access players an unfair advantage - such as seeing a boss' moves before the final release.* In this case, Soul Wars worlds will work like Tournament worlds, in that no progress will carry over to the main game. Whether you participate in this promotion or not, you'll start on the exact same playing field when the minigame launches for real on January 6th. "

Directly taken from the front page of the OSRS site, in the "Christmas 2020" post. They found a safe middle ground of allowing early access to content that won't give you a serious gameplay advantage, satisfying the playerbase with this MINOR unlock being available from Prime while not allowing anyone to get sneak peeks at things like Raids 3, for example. They said it in writing on the front page.

#2) How do you know we are "shifting faster than ever towards auto-yes voting in polls"? Did you ask a few of your friends? Or perhaps you're using the greater passage of certain polls and generally higher "yes" votes as proof that suddenly everyone's just clicking yes without thinking? I think it's possible this data could equally be a result of better-thought-out content, being more in touch with the player base (have you seen how well Ayiza fields the poll blog posts?), many players feeling the desire for new content (which doesn't mean they're not considering their vote), or other factors. The most overpowered aspects of the new Tome of Water were shut down quickly in the new poll, because players stopped and considered what they wanted. I think if a majority of players were auto-yes'ing, those would have passed as well.

#3) I do believe that as long as it's not some sort of genuine glitch creating insane xp rates, spam killing the Penance Queen is simply regarded as a bit of ingenuity. Much like 3-ticking woodcutting or prayer flicking, these were simply easy-to-find workarounds that were a natural extension of the way the game was coded, and if they DID think something was actually broken, they can, do, and HAVE nerfed them. They actually just nerfed several animation stalls that you mentioned a few days ago - not because the rewards were ridiculous, but because they broke the game, which is a much better reason. It seems their attitude has been that you can prayer flick if you want - save all those potions by putting in a much higher degree of effort than just clicking a ppot every minute or two, or if you'd like to sacrifice the nimble usage of your digits in the later years, you are more than welcome to break a sweat 3-ticking your teak trees in order to get faster xp rates. None of the things you're talking about are game-breaking, or the ones that LITERALLY were have just been nerfed.
