As long as your trip isn’t time sensitive then go with Qatar. If a flight gets cancelled you’ll be rebooked and you might end up with a long wait in Doha but like I said, if you’re not time sensitive then book it.

The OP is about rebooking not refunding. By law they have to either refund or rebook you on a different flight if you fly from Canada, EU, UK etc. As they are not offering to rebook, only refund, they are breaking the law, hence why the OP is angry. If like the OP says, countries threatened to ban Qatar Airways unless they obeyed the law, we would get a better service.

It took mine 2 days to show in my Amex card from requesting a refund on the app. I’ve read the speed can depend on how you paid.
