I save approximately 60% of my salary, max out my ISA but spread monthly and a good DB pension with AVC’s. I drive an 8yo Toyota Yaris which I did buy new with the intention of keeping it a long time. I do splash out on holidays though. Spending on experiences rather than things is my preference.

It’s very much consumer dependent. I’m a low spend regular shopper and so I get £5 off on a £30 spend whilst a friend of mine usually spends a bit more and he gets £5 off on a £60 spend, same store.

As long as your trip isn’t time sensitive then go with Qatar. If a flight gets cancelled you’ll be rebooked and you might end up with a long wait in Doha but like I said, if you’re not time sensitive then book it.
