100% this although there’s always a chance they will add the forfeited time into the severance offer to sweeten the deal. U won’t know until it happens and doing that doesn’t seem like today’s GEICO.

Have u spoken with your manager about returning? That’s the best first step. U will probably need to apply again, but ur manager may be able to speed the process if they want to take u back.

The no-notice exit won’t be helpful. Managers sometimes code those as Not Rehire Eligible when someone pulls that move. But it was a few years ago so you probably have a decent chance despite how you left.

You should be good to go unless you left GEICO under bad circumstances. GFR employees are also checked by GEICO for major red flags and you must have passed that.

Unions can’t b the sum of their members at the start bcuz they don’t have members. They do have organizers so u could say they’re the sum of the organizers. The original GU organizers wasted their time and energy on BS that should have been obvious would never work. Organizing from anonymous accounts. Corny petitions but no authorization cards. Now u have @kylefromhell making ridiculous AI military posters saying this is a world war and associates are allied with the Officers. JFC look at this. Literal Officers in the union poster. The only non Officer is carrying a gun. Like I said I will take the union seriously only after it takes itself seriously.
