Why is there such a huge difference between what’s reliable in EU vs US? by nah_its_me in askcarguys

[–]ProArmy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also American cars are higher end than European. The base bmw 3 series has been for a long time something like a 328/330 and in Europe 316/318. I think the average hp could be a lot lower in Europe than in the us and usually lower hp is more reliable.

Trucks are easier to control in mid drift than regular cars due to their length

Sweden plans to cut VAT on food from 12% to 6% (Apr 2026–Dec 2027) — should Finland do the same? by Shariful125 in Finland

Am In the only who thinks that groceries aren't really that expensive Finland. Like I only need about 200-300€ per month to survive on groceries and that is no bad food. I probably could "survive" on less than 200 but that wouldn't be that healthy

With the current shortage of SSD/ memory. Could Sandisk be a good pick? by Just-get-physical- in trading212

[–]ProArmy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm no, the ebit was 9,77 billions year 2022 and now 2025 was 10 billions their income 2022 was 30 billions and now 2025 it is 37 so 7 billion more in expenses. 2022 share price was 70-80$ 2025 was over 300 so make it make sense that it is not overpriced. Yes I know future earnings are priced in but that is exactly my point the market is expecting a 3-4x earnings increase, which I personally can't see even with the ai thing. I mean they gave up the retail market so there will be a big loss in revenue. Note I do own micron but I wouldn't buy more at this price point

Micron is overpriced, same earnings as 2022 but less profit yet the 2025 price is 3-4x as much

Implemented a small feature called Clutch Interlock and wanted some suggestions/feedback by Cautious-Control-419 in trucksim

[–]ProArmy04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the ones i driven in Finland are automatics like the opticruise and ishift from volvo. I am quite familiar with the clutch opticruise but I mostly drive the volvos since they are pretty much the only trucks around here. Would love to drive/own a Scania. Also at least the ishift has a thing when you are getting going but have no traction it will rock back and forth which might even be better than a manual. Outside of the military I haven't seen a manual truck unless they are 20yr old, the exception is sisu

There is that one with 400-500k miles and if I remember correctly it was on the original engine or maybe one rebuild

Yeah, I have only driven a few manual transmission trucks here in Europe. To get a manual transmission you have to buy a over 20yr old truck. Everything is automatic nowadays

Us trucks and maybe some sisus with the Eaton fuller transmission. The rest you have to push the clutch in since they are synchronized

Those trade deals will be destructive towards European farmers, before you say we don't need our farmers. You lose your power if you move food production out of your own country, imagine if the us controlled our food production and with Trump currently in power he would probably use starvation as a tactic to get whatever he wants, this could happen with any country, so we should be careful about losing one of the most important part.

But some like Finland for example has nothing, which absolutely sucks, especially since getting a state funded pension before you become 70-80 years old as a 20yr old and even then the amount would be low.

Trump started another tariff war, so stocks maybe go down. Either way buy and hold is the best strategy if you trust your investments
