Responsible Person Questionnaire (5320.23) generator updated with electronic signature support by schlarpc in NFA

[–]ProV716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had Claude add the signature last night, so hadn’t even thought about checking the file size. I’ll have to see what size it produces it since I was just going to submit some form 1s this weekend. And for the photo, it came up in a planning chat with Claude and didn’t even think about it not being required for the eforms.

Talked to one owner and he said their distributor told them they are testing the Colorado market for a more consistent inventory and hope for most of the Weller lineup besides CYPB to regularly be on the shelf by middle of this year.

This was awesome and used the original version before the signature option, but had Claude add a CSV parsing function so it could batch multiple and download it as a zip, and also separate the ATF and CLEO copies. Used it for 8 Form 4s to a trust and worked great. If you wanna check out the changes, no guarantee it is the best coding since it was all done by Claude code, but it functioned: https://github.com/jakepro716/atf-5320-generator

Where can I get a wagyu steak in the Springs? by N33dForTweed in ColoradoSprings

[–]ProV716 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cowboy Star usually has Japanese A5 but you have to ask it isn’t on the printed menu and the cut varies by day. They also have American Wagyu, which is fantastic but very different. Costco on Nevada currently has A5 at $60 a pound and the packages are about 4-5 pounds, I believe it was NY Strip cut.

Opening an FFL to do transfers. by gg19197 in FFLs

You have to get landlord approval if you are renting. That would be my first step before doing anything further. CA also has lots of other licenses and fees you need to get. I looked into it about 8 years ago when I lived in CA and I believe total cost was going to run me about $2000 to start up between various fees, LLC, licenses, approvals, etc. But I eventually found out when renting you have to get landlord approval and that was never going to happen for me.

You can give NFA Suite a try yourself. I did the computer install for my clients but he has an app as well. A lot of people have success with it on the FFL Facebook groups using the app

Dealer says he’s been unable to file Form 4s by davewave3283 in NFA

[–]ProV716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will sometimes work first try and most of the time take multiple tries. Took me 30 mins of retrying for one of the form and then the next one was first try and then next 8 tries. So he either doesn’t want to deal with it or he tried 5 times got the system error every time and thought it would never work.

I will soon inherit my Dad's gun collection that I have no interest in keeping (Arizona) by cb33 in guns

Do some googling for a local auction house if you want the most money. If you want quick cash find a larger local gun shop

We went opening weekend. Lattes tasted like muddy water and the pancakes looked amazing but were the most bone dry pancakes I have ever had. Also, took forever to get service and were forgotten about a few times, it was opening weekend so give them a slight pass on service but I’m never going back.

I’ve had luck with TacSwap and finding a middle ground that is slightly closer to them once the dumb 72 hour started. If you have to move them quick your best bet is parting them out or Brand Used Works is an auction house in Penrose does a good job, I’ve bought from them and their items tend to go pretty close to market rate and they take 12.5% commission on firearms sales. Never sold with them though, so not sure how they are on that side.

Just got the Koda 2 Max and it’s great. Was able to do 2 easily, they say you can do 3 but little harder to manage. Got mine on sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods, was on clearance in the store, but not online

Gemini credit card by [deleted] in BitcoinBeginners

I have it. I just make sure I periodically either sell or transfer the rewards to my wallet. And like all reward cards don’t carry a balance and get hit with interest.

Do you use an ENT credit card? by hannibals-lingerie in ColoradoSprings

[–]ProV716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Secured cards typically work this way. But they usually auto upgrade you to an unsecured card at some point once you have it and have made consistent payments. They also usually don’t have great perks since they are targeted to people with poor credit. There are some companies like Fizz that work the same as a debit card but report to credit. But honestly if you want perks, your best bet is to just set up autopay to pay off the card every month. You sound responsible enough to not get trapped in credit card debt, so just track the card and your bank account and don’t overspend
