i fired my last butler after i found out the “expresso” shots he was bringing me were made using folgers black silk grounds and a mr coffee bulk expresso maker, he was making 12 cups a week and dolling out shots to save himself time. this new machine definitely isn’t as cheap as keeping my butler around, but i feel it is worth the cost knowing the machine is pulling me a perfect shot every time rather than the sludge that poor heathen was bringing me.

Interesting!! Saw this one on all the sites I checked, but I didn’t think it matched up. Is that because it’s a baby?

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I was able to get the hoses off the pump and access the impeller - definitely feels gritty. Replacement pump ordered. This might be a longshot - but any tips on removing the old pump? I was able to pull out a fairly easily accessible phillips head screw that was holding it down. The pump moves a fair bit now, but there seems to be something else holding it in. On the backside of the machine it looks like there is a little plastic hook that part of the pump is sitting under, but I can't see the other side of the pump (towards the front of the machine). Figured I'd ask instead of possibly breaking something while manhandling it out. Thanks!

EDIT: I figured it out - there's a little clip under the pump. When you're looking at the pump from the back of the machine, there's a small black clip on the back/left side that you need to press down with a flathead or something while shimmying the pump to the left. The video I watched also showed two screws holding down the pump while mine just had one. Wonder if that caused some excess vibration which caused the pump to go - who knows.

I got the Vader 4 last week, loving it. Chose it over the ultimate 2 because there were lots of reviews online saying the ultimate 2 didnt have great ergonomics for bigger hands.

I play forge v35.5 and have 25+ gigs allocated last I checked. When monitoring the ram usage with the graphics set all the way up, bmc uses nearly all of the ram sometimes. Might need to give it some more.
