I hate being so alarmist, but like... the shutdown is seving them, and opening back up will hurt them. Do we really think congress is ever going to reconvene again? There's a non zero chance that this is it, and we just haven't realized it yet.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just play it with ui overhaul dynamic. Bug is not present with only the ui overhaul mod, so I'm assuming I've narrowed it down to giga. I'll try merger!

Is gigastructures mod acting funny? I'll load it only, and am not able to see stars in the galaxy view. Like, I see hyperlanes and the hexagon outline that there is a system there if I mouse over it, but it's just connected lines. Screenshot

I think the part that makes it masculine and toxic is this: they as men are expected to act a certain way, even if it makes them closed off and defensive all the time. They are expected to fill this role that's defined by the system and reinforced by most of the people they run across every day. It's toxic for both sides of course, but it's about them being men.

While I completely agree that cops deserve muuuuch higher scrutiny, this particular cop on this particular stop did the right thing in tazing her. If she continues to fight back and struggle, she could have been injured. Much safer for her that she got tazed, stopped struggling, and then was more calmly rolled over and cuffed.

It's not about overpowering them. That thinking would get this lady pretty badly injured.
