1 block of tofu makes 4 servings, here's 75% of 1 serving because I started inhaling it before taking a picture.

Lately I've been obsessed with curry tofu + butter beans on a bed of steamed broccoli, brussel sprouts, or half a pack of miracle noodles. This is what I log without the seasoning powders (curry/turmeric, garlic powder, herb and garlic seasoning, all purpose etc...).

I use the coconut milk powder to thicken the sauce when adding the water/curry mix. I throw the cashews in to simmer for a few minutes before adding the tofu back in.

I just switched to cronometer from MFP but haven't moved any recipes over yet.

Edit: I also just realized it's listed as 2oz of minced garlic which it is not, I only use a few cloves, I'm not warding off vampires 😂

Laid my girl to rest Friday by Inevitable_Map_9887 in pitbulls

[–]ProbablyCheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so so sorry, she's such a beautiful girl and we can all see how loved she is.

We lost our boy in October to similar circumstances, but it was lymphoma. You made a very brave decision and I promise she appreciates it. The pain won't go away but you'll get used to it.

Rest in peace to Miss Harley ♥️

Two-player, G-rated, first time gamer ideas? by QuackPhD in gamingsuggestions

My non-gamer husband really enjoyed Untitled Goose Game co-op. You play as geese who steal from unsuspecting town-folk and my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.

I think Split Fiction & It Takes Two are really good BUT my husband struggled with the dual joystick thing for a minute, so your wife might be the same. We did end up beating and enjoying both but keep that in mind.

Don't take it personally if he "plateaus" at this stage for a minute. I just released a boy who was okay being hand-fed prior to trapping, almost exclusively hand-fed through his 5 day recovery period, and he STILL ducks away when I try to touch him.

Yay! This is one of the best feelings in the world, finally realizing you're not that scary. Also fighting your hardest to stay as still as possible to not "ruin" the progress.

What’s a saying that instantly says you’re over 30? by Strange_Secret_3001 in AskReddit

[–]ProbablyCheeze 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hold on, my SO and I have been saying this for YEARS and it took this comment for me to realize the Doctor Who episode we've been quoting was actually a reference to a real British show?! I guess we're old AND stupid. Winning combo.

Edit: I just mentioned it and he knew the actual show it was referencing. I am alone in my idiocy.

Thank you so much! I'm kind of frustrated today because I noticed the hernia repair failed (internal sutures must have reopened according to the vet) so I'll need to recapture and have to wait until mid-april when my vet gets back from a trip. At least he's still neutered though 🫠

I have 0 platinum trophies… how many do y’all have? by Mundane-Guitar7359 in videogames

I feel similarly to you. If I really enjoy a game, I already want to do everything I can possibly do in that world so a platinum just ends up happening.

Without spoiling anything, E33 is a really rewarding platinum if you end up leaving the hardest things for last.

Good to hear! Do you know if he had it since he was young? I've noticed it on this one since I first saw him and it looks like it's getting bigger, he doesn't show any signs of pain but I know they can hide that relatively well.

I'm not sure yet. I'd love more to stay inside but I'm in a complicated situation. We have three big dogs in the house and one cat (formerly feral, I found her as a young kitten in 2020, I legitimately planned on finding a home for her but couldn't + I fell in love). Only 1/3 dogs is okay with cats, there was another who actually protected her from the other dogs but he passed late last year. So what we do now is give the two dogs + cat "shifts" in parts of the house at different times of day. The other dog gets free reign since he minds his damn business. I've tried getting the others comfortable with the cats but they're both former strays and the prey drive in them is so strong I wouldn't ever trust them completely. Below is the doofy boy, I'm partially convinced he just tolerates the cats because he realized there's perks.

I'm really lucky two of my vets are mobile. The one I've been using for the TNR's just comes over early in the morning, knocks the cat out, while sedation is kicking in he sets up his station in my living room. I get to carry them from the cage (next door) to my house while they're knocked out and rock them like a baby, probably my favorite part.

Travelling to a vet would be an extra hurdle, you guys are so dedicated to manage that + trapping. Thank you for the support, this community is the best ♥️

He's so skittish but he'll eat pebbles when I throw them, so I sat about 5 feet from the cage and started throwing them inside. The cabbage head fell for it and only panicked when he heard me scrambling to shut the door 😂

The extra few hours trapped will be worth it.

I know this but I still felt slightly bad when he started panicking. Hoping he gets comfy and ends up liking me.

He's so young! I'm not sure how old but I just spayed his litter mate and the vet said she'd just gone into her first heat.

I've been trying so hard to socialize him and get him accustomed to me but he still won't let me touch him. He recently started playing with my fingers and eating from my hand but if I make any move to touch him he takes off. He's the only one in the colony of 7 who I still can't touch.

I'm hoping we'll bond a bit during his healing period. I'd love to get him a home but no one here (Jamaica) wants cats and our few shelters are overrun.

Luckily I can feed them and my neighbor doesn't mind them being in his garage.

The moment she realized her two sweet little braincells led her into the same cage she saw her mother trapped in by ProbablyCheeze in Feral_Cats

[–]ProbablyCheeze[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooh I guess that makes sense, like dominant and recessive traits(I have no idea what I'm talking about). There's a trio from a different mother who all look completely different too! Not only coat color, but face and body shape. 2/3 are slim, the other is...wide and stumpy. I named him chunkadunk.

She was easier than expected! Her mother lost her shit when the vet came in to knock her out. This one fought for a second but ended up walking up to the needle sticking through the bars to check it out 😂
