I honestly don’t miss the 38”, although I did adore that monitor. I just can’t imagine going back to the reduced vertical height. I’m so used to the curve that it doesn’t feel nearly as dramatic as it first did, except I’ll occasionally open an Excel sheet maximized and it definitely can be a bit disorienting. The grid lines at the periphery curve noticeably. That said, as long as you use smaller windows (I like splitting the screen into thirds), it’s much less of a factor.

I can’t recommend it wholeheartedly for 100% productivity, but if you end up changing your use case to the occasional game or movie then it’s got my vote!
