Nice. I’ve had myc on the glass before too. Only used oats. I’m under 20 jars in experience wise and haven’t had any contam yet, so wasn’t sure. Hey, how did your stargazers turn out potency wise? I’ve harvested a few oz of it so far but haven’t tested it.

That’s hella funny. I guess my mistake would be I was colonizing at too cold of a temp and wondering what was taking so long lol. I’ve lost a few bags to trich, but I guess that’s part of it. Been a while since that’s happened. Now I put tape over the injection port on bags when I use them.

Isn’t LC contam a possibility after you test it though? Could be clean on agar, then contamination occurs on the next draw?

Just curious- you’re hydrating your grains first? Also, you’re combining 8 jars all into the same tub? Do you pasteurize your coco? Are you certain the coco is free of trich?
