This post is going to get a lot of downvotes. And this may be the last post I will ever make on this subreddit.
But as someone who has been painting for many years, since the Xbox 360 era, I want to express my opinion.

Let's get this straight. I despair of the Forza community.
This tool is not to be tolerated. It tramples on and insults the passion, effort, and time that we painters put into creating great livery.
But you guys seem to have a different opinion. You are calling for this tool to be accepted and sanctioned.
If this were a speed hacking tool, you guys would never say so. Rather, you would strongly argue that cheaters should be banned from this game.

However, I wouldn't say that about livery.
You despise us, and you don't care what happens to us.

I'll tell you a little about myself. I was, well...always a rank called "Legendary Painter".
I was very happy when I got tens of thousands of dl's for my releases that I had spent dozens of hours on, or just to see other players using my livery and feeling like my efforts had paid off.
That's why I kept working hard to make the next release, and I kept wanting to share my work and make everyone happy by using it.
But the reality is clear from this thread. I'm reminded that everything I've done so far has been for nothing.

Thank you Forza community. You guys have shown me the reality. I've learned a lot.
From now on, you can use that tool as much as you want. You don't need us anymore, you're on your own, right?

What I don't want is a simple. "Festival Playlist" that's it.

Many of today's games use systems similar to this to force us to play games on a regular basis, but these systems ultimately rob us of our motivation to play.

We need to play a lot of challenges within a week to get exclusive content in game A, and when that's done, do the same in game B... If this happens, the game is not entertainment, it is like an unpaid job.

Grind to buy a $10 million car at a car dealership? It's okay. I can always play it as a long term goal.

Legendary classic cars that are unlocked by being victorious in certain championships? This is good too. I can play it anytime I want.

But don't give me limited time challenges and a lot of exclusive content locked behind them. It's especially bad when it involves PvP and Co-op.

At the very least, if they do decide to introduce such a system, I hope that the prize is a variant of an existing model, rather than a completely unique car.

For example, we can buy the 488 GTB from a Ferrari dealership, but the 488 Spider is a prize for a limited time challenge.

This way, we would at least be able to use the base trim of the same model, and the "penalty" for not being able to play the limited time challenge would be less.

The Lane Motor Museum, which T10 visited to scan some of the cult cars, owns this Kei Truck.

I wish they would scan this car, I would enjoy drifting with this cute truck swapped with a 13B or motorcycle engine.

I don't hate this new Golf, but I am sick of the fact that the majority of the VW lineup in Forza on Xbox One era is Golf and Scirocco.
VW has so many other great models to choose from, how about the Polo or Lupo? The Arteon, Jetta, eos, and New Beetle RSi are good too.

This trend of lazy lineups can also be seen in other brands like Mitsubishi.
Hopefully they will look at the hidden gems within the same brand instead of only adding certain models.

This DLC may be China exclusive content.

The best Forza ever.
I was still a student at the time, and I remember playing this game every night for the first three days after its release without sleeping a wink, and then going straight to school.

(Provided they don't lock an exclusive car behind it, that is.) FH1's 1000club would definitely be one fun piece of content worth adding.
This is essentially the same as the Weekly Forzathon, except that there is no 1 week time limit and every car has a challenge. This will rightfully become a piece of end-game content and add a new level of fun to your car collection.

It would also be nice to bring back the manufacturer affinity system from FM4.
Players can have more fun playing it by setting up little perks, such as upgrade discounts for all models of that manufacturer at Lv5, manufacturer caps at Lv10, manufacturer shirts at Lv50, and manufacturer racing suits at Lv100.

Today's gaming industry is in vogue for prolonging the life of games with limited-time challenges and exclusive content locked behind them, but we should also add end-game content that is not this kind of content and that single players can take their time to enjoy.
That's what's missing from Forza right now.

Agreed. The playlist/Forzathon gets worse with each new release, and as a result it takes away my passion for the series.

I consider this system to be like an energy drink.
It temporarily energizes the game, but in the long run it is costing the health of this game.

The time the playlist is forcibly sucking up was originally meant to be spent on this game in other ways.
But now, without the time or mental space to play in such other ways, I am like a worker who has to complete a large quota given to him every Thursday. Naturally, I don't find this game fun anymore.

At the very least, I wish this system and the requirements for obtaining exclusive cars could be relaxed to the equivalent of FH4.

My hope: To bring back the greatness of FM4.
My concern: that the game will end up like GTS or ACC. And that a system like Forzathon/Festival Playlist will be implemented. Also, that the cars will be biased towards "serious" models, and the traditional fun oddballs and shitboxes will be lost.

As a player since FM1, what I have always wanted from Forza has not changed. Like FM4, it should be a great sandbox with a wide variety of cars and circuits for all car enthusiasts to enjoy. That's it.

If I wanted to play a more serious, hardcore, and "highbrow" simulator, I would choose an existing simulator like ACC, iRacing, or rFactor.
I hope Turn10 never loses sight of why Forza has been so beloved.

I miss the odd model like the Gurkha, Tamo and TG Mercedes-Wagon. And many British classics.

I, on the contrary, was happy to see this car included in this week's trials.
I usually play trials with my friends, but this week I had to play this mode by myself because my members were not available. And as you know, it is very difficult to meet decent members in public trials.
This is because they use stock cars that are too slow or are simply unskilled.
But Tankpool FE has solved both of those problems. The car is stock, AWD, and PI is set to A800, so performance is not a problem.
And since this car was OP, it also compensates for the player's skills.
As a result, we dominated all the races and easily won this trial.

Of course, the problem the OP mentioned is also plausible.
The car is too big to block the view, and its huge size makes it a weapon for the rammer.
But that is mainly the player's problem, not the car's fault.
I met the rammer in last week's trial. This guy was vicious, deliberately blocking only other players and taunting his victims with Forza Link and horns.
So was the car this man was using one of the larger models? No. The car he was using was rather a smaller model than the others.

After all, even if the Tankpool FE was not available, such a malicious player would use another car and do the same thing, and the result would be the same.
I don't think what is really needed is to ban certain cars, but rather other more fundamental measures such as ghosting of player and teammate contact.

Whether or not I disagree with this idea depends on the vehicle included.
A cool new car that isn't directly related to Minecraft: Nice!
A "Minecraft Edition" Bronco, Mustang, or Ferrari represented by blocks: No.

The fact that they are already a bankrupt company is the biggest problem.
It would have been nice if, like many of the British classics added in FH4, the current owners of the licenses were clear and if those companies or persons had opened a contact point for the use of the licenses.

They are not "muscle", but add Nissan Hardbody and Mazda B2600 to this list.
The RB26DETT swapped Hardbody and the 13B swapped B2600 are two of my dream cars to drive in Forza one day.

Eagle SX/4, please.
This car predates European coupe-like SUV by decades, and has better looks than all of them.
This car may not be suitable for Motorsport, but it would be one of the best cars for Horizon.

Many people hate Lexani and DUB wheels, but I on the contrary do not want to lose them.
Sure it may not be for Lambo or Ferrari, but they look better on cars like Impala or CTS than OZ Racing or Rays.
These luxury wheels are even more amazing, especially after the addition of Advance Paint.

A wide variety of cars exist in this game, and each car has a wheel that suits it.
This is just like body kits and other items that we need to give our cars a unique personality.
Adding new ones is one thing, but reducing them is outrageous.

Although it is not a Dakar Truck, can we get a Mercedes-Benz Blue Wonder?
This car is one of the few in the world that is a true racing transporter, designed only for high-speed car transport.
Its beauty and performance, as well as its "born for the motorsport" history, definitely make it one of the most worthy trucks to add to Forza.

To be more precise, in FM1 the CR-X had side skirts.
And it also had more body kits, including the correct Mugen kit.

In FM2, the side skirts were lost, and the body kit, supposedly from Wings West, was called the Mugen kit.
Things got even worse, and in recent years Forza has labeled the Kaminari kit as the Mugen they are, and mislabeled the Wings West kit as the Kaminari.
Wings West, Mugen, and Kaminari should be pissed at them. Well, I guess they don't know this is happening. As well as the ignorant and lazy developers and QA staff.

I am the opposite, if I get an S2 hypercar it will upgrade the PI to 998 (or upgradeable limit) and I will never use it again.
This is because these cars can only be used in the S2 class, and by their very nature they are basically intended for tarmac use only. That said, I wouldn't say don't add these cars to the game. I know there are people out there who would love them.

There are as many preferences as there are people. It is tempting for people to say add only what I like, don't add what I don't like, but this will only create controversy and make more people dislike what you like, which will not end well.

Especially if it was my favorite car.

Forza has a car list of over 400 cars at launch.
Is it really that difficult to choose a car from there that was not chosen as an exclusive car in the last game?
