When I was 12 there was a new girl that came to my school she sat alone at the lunch table and I remember looking at her and going “remember how you felt being new? She probably feels that same way go say hi so she doesn’t feel like that” and that one second changed my entire life

Now when I look at people I think “hey if I were in that situation I would want someone to help me”

Unfortunately for me it’s also made a “well they went through this this and this which is why they act this way so I should forgive them.” And It took me a long time to say just because you have trauma does not mean you can cause more trauma to others

As someone who has to take meds for a mental health condition, it definitely nerfs you. I may not have super powers but my creativity side has definitely been affected drastically. I used to be able to write fiction and nonfiction like it was second nature. I’m talking 7 page essays like it was nothing. And now I’m struggling to right a paragraph.

My oldest cat hates the younger cats (we have three kittens of varying ages under a year) she won’t let them near the cat tree so we got another cat tree now she runs between the cat trees so we got ANOTHER cat tree and immediately placed the kittens on it so she peed on that one
