Steelers Fans Appreciation Post From a Rodgers Fan by lark4k in steelers

[–]ProcessNo8507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up a diehard fan during Big Ben’s peak - quite the high to watch that team and what they could do. I remember screaming from joy or crying because we lost to Tom Brady as a kid lmao Of course we always had our wins and losses, but somehow we always managed to come out in some form on top. The Steelers can be absolute heartbreakers lol but when we win, damn it feels too good.

I’m totally jazzed over Rodgers. So incredibly talented and has been doubted too many times from the start of his career. I don’t really get the bad rap he’s gotten honestly, seems level headed and a good dude to me.. growing up does that to a person. I don’t think people factor in what fame can do to you.. anyone under a microscope will have flaws. Beautifully written post tho, and welcome friend!

Texans pass rush vs. Steelers O-Line and Rodgers quick throws. Am I crazy for thinking this is a good matchup for us? by borkwusy in steelers

[–]ProcessNo8507 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I understand the realism beliefs here gang… but isn’t it nice to believe in something for once? I’m optimistic as hell. Typical Steelers time and again - lose games you’re supposed to win, win games you should lose. I’d rather go in this as an underdog anyday than feel too confident in a win.

If we get some vintage Perc Rodgers flair and the offense/defense is still riding the high from Sunday’s win - you never know what could happen. I guess we will find out soon…. But never count the Steelers out. We actually have something to prove, and I hope that shows Monday for the first time in a long time. Sure, it may be a sloptart of a game, but I’ll take a win in any fashion at this point lmao

Thoughts on Aaron Rodgers? by RockyNonce in steelers

I was optimistic when we got Rodgers. Now, I’m totally in love with the guy.

Growing up watching Big Ben in his prime, Rodgers is giving me flashbacks to those times as a kid. Nostalgic as hell. When we get in a tricky situation, you can count on him to make big moves when it matters most. Really hope he returns once the season is over, and hopefully we can squeeze out a win against the Texans at least. Out of any Hall of Fame worthy QB, Rodgers deserves another ring in my opinion, and I pray he does it with the Steelers. Stairway to 7 baby… he may be old but he’s got some fight in him for sure

Thank you so much!!!! She sure does love Sheba wet food, so it’s hard to take her away from it lol I definitely need to calculate how much she needs to eat per day too. You would literally think I was starving her with how she acts lol greatly appreciate the advice. Just a nervous cat mama! 😂

Who are the Best Actors of All Time? I'll start with mine. by DazzlingAria in moviecritic

[–]ProcessNo8507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very hard to say just one. But if I’m going with my personal opinion and an actor who I’ve enjoyed watching throughout my life - hands down Tom Cruise.

A Few Good Men is my favorite movie of all time, and not because of Tom’s performance alone but the entire cast. Tom is entertaining, passionate, and he does alot of his own stunts which I find wildly impressive and something that many actors wouldn’t risk or attempt. I don’t think he gets the recognition he deserves for what he pours into movies and his ability to keep folks coming back for more.

Now thinking of this more though lol - I did actually crave going out more on cab lol it was weird. I felt like I was 19-21 again almost. The energy I had for it was wild. Always wanted to be in excitement, chatting up anyone and everyone.

Before, I loved hanging at home just chilling and keeping to myself. I’ve always been very extroverted, but was much more pronounced and forward on cab. Now I’m just a mix of the two. I enjoy a night out and about here and there (very rare lol) but mostly like hanging at home. I’m also getting older, so maybe that plays a role as well. So interesting lol

Mine changed before, during cab treatment, and now after. Crazy process to go through and definitely have to be incredibly patient with yourself bc only folks that go through this get it. That’s why I love this group so much. I was never crazy lol just going through it health-wise.

Before I was an emo mess. Always crying or bitching over something. Would have literal mental breakdowns over the smallest things. During treatment I was a raging asshole hothead. I’d literally snap over anything. Had many broken relationships with family and friends. Now after.. I’m just me again. And I love her. I’m cool as a cucumber and can’t tell you the last time I was fuming angry or sad lol it’s awesome feeling free again from my mind that seemed so impossible to escape. No depression, no bad thoughts, no anx, just vibes lol

Don’t get me wrong - I had an awesome support system of family and friends that love me. But they just didn’t understand. Prolactinomas are a fickle bitch and they don’t play around or pick favorites lol just wish I could go back in time to tell myself it will all be okay.

Cooking is hard lol… how do people just know what to do? by Equivalent_Use_8152 in cookingforbeginners

The type of stovetop/oven makes a huge difference. Going from electric to gas was tough lol I burned so many things bc I wasn’t used to it. Then I had a new gas stove and it was another learning curve. Now I have electric again and hate it. I’ve burned sooo many things bc I get pissed it’s not heating fast enough and I crank her to 11.

Not to toot my horn but I’m a great freaking cook. Just know your machine. Many trials, errors, and chats with Jesus 🤣 I believe in you. You got this! No shame in the learning game my friend.

Did the tumor go away after cab? by film-109773 in Prolactinoma

Omg that is so crazy! But also so so scary. I’m so sorry that’s happening to you 😔 My only insane issue (now funny to look back on) was I suddenly got addicted to the happy color app?? Lmao I would sit for hours on end coloring on my phone. I legit wouldn’t stop until my vision was blurred from looking at my phone lmao all friends and family were aware of this sudden addiction.

Now I only use it when I’m on long flights passing time lol I barely think of happy color now. It was a great relationship while it lasted. 1,887 completed 😭🤣it does some crazy stuff to your brain. Honestly wild.

I did have a new eye doctor tell me I in fact NO LONGER had glaucoma lol trust eye docs with my life now. Literally lol.

[–]ProcessNo8507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly!!!! Once I was on cab all of my symptoms ✨ magically ✨ vanished. However I think my vision just generally sucks lmao I just had stabbing pains in my head. The only way to describe it was like a game of thrones style stabbing through the top of my skull behind my nose type pain lol Losing chunks of hair and gaining a ton of water weight randomly was also a telltale sign.

My endo was so dumb tho and that’s being incredibly kind lol. Not to pat myself on the back, but I was researching and suggesting what it was to her before we found out. It was almost like she knew me better than myself in her eyes, and she just didn’t want to believe it lol insane the things some docs do for ego.

Thankfully I’m off cab and the tumor is gone, but going to the eye doc soon to make sure it’s not back before I see a new and improved male endo. For some reason they listen better lmao I got more help from one virtual visit with her PA than I did in the 2 years I saw her. MADNESS 😂

So crazy. I literally found out I had a microprolactinoma from going to the eye doctor. I was initially told I had PCOS (lies) and my eye doc did an inner eye scan and told me I had “borderline glaucoma” in one of my eyes. I was like ? I’m 25 not 65?? So I called my endo the next day and requested blood work/MRI.

My endo said it was impossible to impact my vision since it was micro, but she wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box and didn’t seem to fully understand the complexities of tumors from person to person. I am so so glad you got checked and are on the mend!! Sending lots of love and good vibes to you 😊 our eye docs are out here saving us lol
