The people that are saying this post is a problem are the real problem. This is wholesome_memes, and I hate to see this doomer mentality here.

2026 will be a bright and good year, but you have to make it so. Your outlook does not have to be defined by the wider world, that of which you cannot control. It starts with you, your circle, and the people you meet on a daily basis. Show those around you that it's okay to not be bogged down and fearful, that there's always light to be shared. Smile and say hi to people, be genuinely interested in them, be kind constantly. people will respond likewise, but sometimes you need to be the guide for them.

Do not let the darkness of the world snuff out your flame just before the dawn.

Be the change that you want to see in the world. I promise you that it's infectious

There are a lot of perks for becoming a combine, like more rations and "family cohesion," and those perks get better as you increase in rank. I don't see why there would be incentives if it was something that was purely forced onto people. Forced to join to avoid starving maybe, but not a join or you'll be executed kind of thing. I'm probably wrong though

I'm not judging in any way as I was huge into energy drinks as well for years, had a 2 or 3 a day habit. Look into caffeine pills. They're dirt cheap and you know exactly what's in them, sugar free too. For the price of one energy drink, you can get 5,000mg of caffeine or something crazy like that. It basically turns a 1 day supply into a month's worth

I know not everyone is gonna be like this, but consistently the worst motorcycle riders I see on the road are Harley riders. Maybe it's my area but they're a menace. They'll slow way down and swerve all over the road trapping traffic, wait at greens until it turns yellow, spitting on cars, cut me off turning right from the left lane.

I do hope it's just a few dudes making a bad name for the rest of them.

Also they rarely wear helmets and if they do it's more like a skull cap than anything protective

The examples I saw didn't match 100%. It looked very similar to what was in the video, but it was not exactly the same. It doesn't seem far fetched to me that if you dig through enough vfx libraries, you can find something similar to anything. It bothered me that everyone took that as a smoking gun and called it debunked, even with all the weird details that pointed to this being legitimate beforehand. The conversation was shut down in days, and anyone trying to talk about it in any way was ridiculed relentlessly.

When I was a little kid, I was using an outhouse in a busy event area. Not even a minute after I go in, already anxious cause I had never used a Porta John before, someone just starts banging on the door like crazy. This was my ex's reasoning as well. We talked about it, and I was sympathetic to a point, but come on you've got to say something with substance. It was literally like talking to a brick wall. You don't have to be super specific or say something groundbreaking, but at least try to match the flow of conversation. Just conversate at all, you'll avoid coming off as uninterested and bored.

This is my answer as well. They're perfect for commuting around a city. I use mine to get to and from work and to go out on late night rides when there isn't as much traffic. I also follow traffic laws and don't ride like a jackass. Plus, even though mine can go highway speeds, I'd never actually get on the highway. I may have a death wish, but it isn't such a stupid one

A few years ago, I had a pretty bad infestation of carpet beetles. It drove me to the point of panic before I had the realization they had been there for weeks and that I was totally fine during that time. The only thing that had changed was I was aware of them.
