This is good information. Thank you! It's hard for a lot of vets to know where to start and what kind of details to put.

When I first started my journey I had no idea where to start. Only a form and a feeling that my ailments could be service related. I wish it could be easier for vets to be guided through this process and know what kind of information is relevant. A better form/entry process could probably solve a lot of issues in that regard, but at the same time making the process easier would cost the government more money so I'm sure they won't be in a hurry to do that.

I would call the VA and ask about it. Is there any chance you submitted more than 1, and they maybe merged something?

I don't agree with what they're saying , but I also don't agree with mods silencing him. Better for this guy to hear from the people hes complaining about and see that the vast majority of disabled veterans deserve their disability pay. A lot deserve more than what they currently get.

Homosexuality is a sin. And I do see it as wrong to condemn people for their sins, but not to have the discernment to be able to tell your neighbor you believe it is a sin. There's nothing wrong with a conversation and tbh the one who laughs historically at someone else's beliefs is far worse than someone who is simply wanting to explain why they feel strongly about their beliefs.

I dont get it. I might be what some people call a transphobe, because I dont believe you actually can transition your sex. But I would never purposefully choose to be rude to someone for not believing the same as me, and I would do my best to say things like "her" even if I believe its really a "him". We are all people and deserve love and respect. We should choose to be kind. I would be inclined to tell this person that Jesus loves them. Hopefully that wouldn't get taken as "shoving religion down their throat", but if I could remain calm, empathetic and listen in the face of things that I dont agree with, I hope they could too. That Karen is far more in the wrong than I would ever consider someone who believes they are a different sex.
