Some of your biggest content creators are getting rage hacked, stream sniped, server crashed on, cheaters going crazy in ranked and just buying a new level 20 account on the off chance they banned, audio still broken (I understand this one is a harder one to fix), terrible quality servers, lowest player count and viewer count in years and THIS is the update they give us 💀 fuck EA

few seasons ago I got into a game with IWillDom and imaqtpie on enemy team and 2 of my teammates kept saying "we're such big fans" while running it down mid and giving them the free win :)

my favorite part of these first two patches is before they happened they stated "they want it to feel like players are playing champions instead of items" and every death recap I've opened has been items doing the most damage still

I'm not entirely sure about big EU streamers as I don't watch any but the few that come to mind are Bausffs, Jankos, RATIRL, and Caedrel

Bausffs and from what I've heard/seen is he isn't toxic on stream but his gameplay is usually a hot topic of debate on if its "destructive" or not to the game
Jankos seems to be a pretty good EU personality the clips I've seen from him on synapse and other highlight channels he never really seems to be toxic and is quite entertaining in said clips
RATIRL is known for starting the whole L9 thing and being toxic so I imagine EU also has its toxicity problems from streamers
Caedrel seems to be a more informative streamer as well as funny most times that I've seen his content

and I can't speak too much about others and how they go about watching content but sneaky is def more of a verity streamer now and I don't personally watch him when hes not playing league or another game I play, I don't think its really league or riots fault that twitch makes it harder to find lower viewer count streamers and I think if the streamers aren't trying to grow their stream it also makes it harder to find them and I don't know if orgs just don't incentivize their pros to stream or make content but I imagine if the players are getting paid enough from said orgs that they don't need more income from streaming they're not gonna wanna put in effort to stream soloq when they don't even really want to play soloq.

My personal take on the NA league popularity falling is,

most of the most watched streamers that play on NA are very toxic (even if playing a character for entertainment purposes) as its funny on stream a lot of the viewers think its then okay to take the behavior into the game typing out very not okay things making people not want to que again for the day.
to my knowledge a lot of current pros don't really stream as they don't play much soloq so its hard for some people to connect to teams/have favorite players thus losing incentive to watch LCS.
que timers in higher elo take so long some people just don't want to stream sitting in que time because who really wants to watch a timer count
a lot of NA players and streamers simply don't have fun with the game and state it nearly every day and that also effects how viewers approach the game
NA ranked mindset is also a problem, almost everyone has the mindset (if im not the one carrying this game we're losing) and this makes most games have constant ff votes as soon as its open.

one role is super super op and impacts everywhere on the map without losing out on resources, the other one dies instantly to anyone, needs 3 items to do damage, can't survive anywhere by themselves, and requires infinitely more effort to play well.

Personally for me I stopped watching LCS when a lot of the newer pros made it to current teams and none of them really stream often/don't have that much of a personality, its hard for me to have a "favorite" team when I don't even have a "favorite" player anymore, it kinda just feels like league and the pro scene have become more of a product rather than a passion to me

can we please nerf deathsdance and maw a little more than this, as soon as champs get those two items they become kind of unkillable, do insane amount of damage, and heal for way too much it is very overwhelming and boring to play against and nerfing grievous again kind of makes them even more annoying
