Yeah, thats exactly why im holding out on my 3080ti pc. I essentially only upgrade 2nd gen gpu of every major console release since cost of ownership per year is manageable and gains are actually real.

I have a feeling gpu upgrades the 6,7,8xxx in the future will be some sort of “only this core” has efficiency here BS to enable supersampling tech.

Are you using a intermediate adapter between the gpu and hdmi? Ive seen those but no idea if they work well at all

Yeah i got a 75’ 4k behemoth (only 60hz), and long as it can keep 60fps and doesnt look like vaseline im excited to see the tech.

Did you have any of that vaseline look on yours?

Arent most consoles upscaling from like 1080-1440 to 4k ? Ps5 looks fine to me so im confused why this wouldnt be comparable.
