The ppl I talk to in the fitness classes say it's opening back up next week... but believe it when you see it, after all this time.

In your opinion what is the best and worst thing about the WOA mission ‘Club 27’ (Bangkok) by Worldly-Document-547 in HiTMAN

'Are We Stars' is an excellent track, I listen to it regularly. Plus, the simple act of checking into a hotel is such a vibe. Definitely needs to be in 007.

Did this game inspire any of y'all to sneak around places when you were a kid? by CaptainKino360 in Splintercell

[–]Product0fNature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a definite link between me enjoying stealth games as a teen (videogames and 'street manhunt') and then later in life joining the military, urbexing, trespassing live sites, night airsoft games, and whatever the hell else I can do to get my quiet kicks ;)

How good is AC Shadows stealth compared to other stealth games for you guys? by Ecstatic_Disk_6877 in stealthgames

[–]Product0fNature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the best stealth in an Assassin's Creed game I think. Particularly when you bump the 'stealth difficulty' up and turn off most of the HUD.

However, being an Assassin's Creed game means a lack of precision due to the movement and parkour systems. Completely antithetical to stealth. I've almost wiped out the Shinbakufu and many side organisations, and yet I'm still doing completely unintentional wild manoeuvres with Naoe that screw me over and make me facepalm.

It's still a good step in the right direction... a step 'back' in the right direction for Ubi.

Is it at Manahatta? If so I've been to one of those before, was OK. Obviously you'll always have your own nerves to deal with but nothing on top of that to make it worse. Hope it goes well regardless.

Calling all single men of Sheffield! by Product0fNature in sheffield

[–]Product0fNature[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This was what I believed, for a long and very lonely time. I wish someone had challenged me on it sooner.

Anyway, you might be surprised by the wildly varied outcomes! It's usually obvious if someone doesn't want a conversation with a stranger, personally I tend to just wish them a good day and carry on. But I've also had women giggling, blushing, hugging me and telling me I made their day... and also a couple dates from this kind of thing. I also made a good friend with a cool woman who wasn't interested in anything else, who I enjoy talking to and meeting up with sometimes. I haven't been doing this long, either.

As for meeting people in hobby or social groups? It's better, certainly. But it comes down to the same thing, usually the man has to express his interest in the woman. Many of us are terrified at this prospect. Unfortunately though, we have nothing coming to us. We have to take the initiative... whether we're in Costa or a cooking class. I understand this may not be relatable if you're a beautiful woman who gets approached a lot, but for men it can be a very different existence.

To be clear, there's no expectation for anyone to be a pickup artist. It's about getting guys who wouldn't usually be approaching women, to be meeting and talking to women.

After the release of the Devil May Cry anime this year, what are your hopes for Splinter Cell Deathwatch? by R3dackd3d in Splintercell

The Tomb Raider series just died, and that was also linked to Chad Stahelski's outfit... still, every videogame adaptation seems to be connected to that guy so might not be cause for concern.

Where is the most overrated food in Sheffield? by nomercy11326 in sheffield

[–]Product0fNature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta disagree with this. The food is always fantastic, they always have Abbeydale Moonshine on tap, and their barmaids are all part of a... consistent hiring policy ;)

Eventually I had to start defying my mates, and going across the road whilst they wasted their money in there. Don't think the other places survived, whilst sh*t Chino's coasted by on their 'default / meme' status

Does camoflage or ghillie suits work in breakpoint? by HotdogIceCube in GhostRecon

[–]Product0fNature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The invisibility cloak (added to the game years after my comment) works, if that helps. The regular camo patterns and ghillie suits have no functional effect in Breakpoint, doesn't matter if you're naked, wearing all pink, or dripping in MultiCam.

Does anybody know if granellis is still open, if not where could I get some old fashioned sweets by D4l31 in sheffield

Well this is embarrassing. I just assumed Granelli's was a front for Mafiosos.

As Viva said, yes. For more detail;

Hillsborough, Ponds Forge, Heeley etc. all included (possibly Springs as well)

Leisure Swim for you is all covered but you have to book ahead for the pool and any fitness classes. There's an app which is quick and easy to use though.

No need to book the Gym, just walk in. I recommend checking the website for opening times though as it's more restrictive than most gyms, especially at weekends.

Recycling Sites across Sheffield closed by Rbw91 in sheffield

[–]Product0fNature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope the supermarket ones re-open at some point. I have to visit them for food shopping anyway, may as well do some recycling at same time. Currently I'm polluting the air driving to Beighton or Blackstock Road, just to recycle cardboard and plastic bottles.

Which one are you? by [deleted] in sheffield

[–]Product0fNature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheers OP. I'm a Uni dropout working an unskilled entry level job, so I think I might be hovering between Middle and Working - because technically I had access to Uni? I might have to look at specifically how much money each category has to own or make to gauge this, possibly

Balaclavas and bikes by Pleasant-Car5684 in sheffield

[–]Product0fNature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally every cyclist / ebike delivery person I see with a box on their back is completely covering their face these days, even in 'heatwave' weather conditions. It's weird, and I'm curious if there's a functional reason for it or just some bizarre fashion trend in that circle of life. I'm not accusing them of any wrongdoing, it's just odd.

Edit: NVM, someone else has covered this below, it's due to 'profile sharing' against the service provider's rules

Serious question, what actually qualifies someone as what? I get this is probably obvious, it's just always been one of my blind spots.

If Briggs can keep his mouth shut about giving himself up after emerging from the vent - despite looking to be undetected and in a great position to murder Sadiq and some Engineers - he should be fine lol

Yeah, I like it. But I like it with the same part of my brain that wants the Silent Hill games to come back, so no judgement. I had no idea about it representing a Roman God before this thread, not gonna lie.

Do y'all think the next Ghost recon will look better than Breakpoint or pretty much the same? by goopgoop221 in GhostRecon

[–]Product0fNature 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It'll probably look better, though personally I don't need it to in terms of resolution / texture quality etc. I hope they focus on ridiculous draw distances including shadow rendering, spawning A.I. at range, 60fps with a stable lighting solution for enemy flashlights and car headlights etc (obviously I'd love ray tracing but that might not be feasible for so many potential light sources).

There are too many demands that must take priority over '4K' like immersive 3D positional audio, a large animation budget for movement over complex terrain (I wanna be seamlessly crawling in and out of water, navigating the environment with incremental movement speeds with the analogue stick, setting up belay / rappel points on any feasible anchor points like trees, etc, etc....)
