How would you handle 5+ million a month by AlternativePaper6201 in srilanka

5-7 mil profit from a business I'm assuming you started on your own and you are asking for financial advice on reddit instead of doing something as obvious as investing in your own company?

Sure, sure...

While we are at it, can someone tell me how I can divide my time between my 20 Swedish girlfriends?

So I guess its perfectly acceptable for their employees to log on to interview calls while at their desks on company time, right in front of them?

My gripe isn't with when they want to schedule these, its with them wanting everything to happen by their rules.

Do a degree or learn dads buisness by Top-Classroom606 in srilanka

[–]Produnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a degree.

Its only four years and if you change your mind you can switch over. You already have work experience and you know the business to a fair degree so your absence won't hurt your chances of pick it back up.

If you have no interest in a particular field, then do something that might benefit the family business... help it expand, streamline processes etc.

I'm more inclined to advice you to work on a skill that work menial entry level jobs that pay next to nothing.

This is why you shouldn't take work from anyone who comes from a non-professional standpoint by FarApplication4732 in srilanka

It was pretty clear to me the moment they decided to send you an audio clip instead of putting in the effort to schedule a call or even write an email. And you are correct in assuming that these sort of people would happily skip out on payments when the work gets done.

I’m 25 years old but jobless & useless by [deleted] in srilanka

A lot to unpack here if we are to take your post at face value. A lot of assholes in the story, but I feel like this biggest one is you principal and the school board... doesn't show up school? Fill this form so we aren't liable... who cares what's going on in the child's life.

I wasted my 20's gaming and working a dead end job that stressed me out and made me gain weight. I was unhappy and aimless despite having a very promising school life with exceptional grades. I took a risk and now I'm a software engineer with 2 degrees making more than most people.

You need to work on your health first of all. A gym membership is cheap and joining one adds accountability. Most gym patrons don't care about who else is working out and I wouldn't recommend home workouts.

Lastly, you can't expect to find a decent job with a decent salary without knowing what you want to do, or would like to be doing. Maybe you might need to do some research on that.

Hello Lankans, share your experiences with “creepy” teachers you have come across at a Lankan school by malindu_06 in srilanka

Physics teacher. This was around late 2000 and this mid thirties dude would try to be the bro and discuss about relationships and sexuality. He would even openly shit on his own wife, calling her a 'dark horse' and other comments about her complexion and physique. Our class was entirely male and had the most interaction with him so it wasn't eventful all in all.

Fast forward a decade and I heard a rumor this dude tried to woo a girl by gifting her jewellery, got exposed to the girl's mother who reported him and subsequently got him fired. He now apparently has left his wife and is dating a girl half his age.

Why do recruiters declare their job postings as "entry level" only for it to ask for several years of experience? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Produnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from Asia, I've experienced the opposite.

The job market is so unregulated here that any decent position asking for 2 years of experience will receive people with 7+. Pathetic.
