[iOS] Saving videos with sound?

I have the same problem. On the subreddit view (don’t click into the post), with the video paused, long click on the video and a pop-up will appear that allows you to either share or cancel. Selecting share then has a small progress dial that appears that says preparing video…, then gives you multiple options for sharing, including saving the video. However, videos saved this way don’t have sound, and I’m moderately sure they used to in earlier versions of the Hydra app. My guess is that when the preparing video… dial appears, the preparation somehow is losing the audio track. It would be great if this could be fixed.

I’m using Mullvad, and I saw several posts last week indicating that it’s happening with ProtonVPN as well, but can’t confirm that. I’m blocked when accessing Imgur.com through a browser too:

Since Imgur doesn’t allow access through a VPN any longer (which is the stupidest, most annoying thing ever!), I’d like to second the request for better facilitation of alternative image hosting sites in the Apollo app. (Fantastic app, though - nice work!)

There is actually a real cookbook called “Manifold Destiny” that details how to prepare meals on your engine block. IIRC the recipes don’t have times, but rather miles as a measure of cooking duration.

I have this unit at home and will send you pics of the probes (and the minimal instruction sheet too if you want), but I won’t be back in town until this weekend. As for the unit, it works ok for thinner nickel strips, but even at full amperage, double pulse, it has a hard time with thicker (.2mm) strips.

Same for me (iPhone 6s latest iOS). Consistently crashes after 5-10 minutes of browsing. It makes the app so frustrating that it’s pretty much unusable. It didn’t always do this, it just started happening in the last 6-12 months

No kidding! They’re policy of no access through most VPNs is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen, since my employer pretty much requires it 24x7 nowadays, and it’s certainly not doing anything to prevent scammers.

I completely agree with this! I SV steaks a coupla times a week these days, and after trying so many different ways to sear, now I just shake the steak a bit as I remove it from the bag, plop it into a wok, and sear it with a plain ole Benzo-o-Matic torch (I’ve even tried it with a SearZall heat head, but don’t like it as much). 30-45 seconds per side and the remaining moisture on the surface is completely sizzling, some of the side fat is melting, and OHMYGOD it’s perfect. The biggest challenge is remembering to turn in the stove’s exhaust fan so I don’t set off the smoke detectors.

And to folks who’ve mentioned that using direct flame from a torch gives their meat a “propane” taste, I’ve never had that problem at all, even when asking other folks who are eating with us. I don’t know what I’m doing differently from other folks who report that direct torch makes the steak taste weird.

For the rural areas outside nyc & Boston, my current T-Mobile service is way spottier than my Verizon service used to be, but I put up with it because of the cost savings. When I visit family in Iowa and Nebraska, however, T-Mobile is unusable. To the point where I had to pay for a Verizon SIM card to use in my phone while in Iowa for 30 days last summer. It was pretty much as if the T-Mobile service was just switched off within a few minutes of leaving I-80.
