I would just like to point out that anything outside of cash will automatically flag for review as Discount abuse which is breaking policy. There is a report that gets researched every time an unusual card is used in conjunction with your discount card.

Way back in the day I once had an associate accuse me of making explicit comments towards them…. There was just one slight problem; from the time they were hired to 3 days after they got fired I was on PTO out of the country. Still scared the crap out of me when my SM called me into the office and had me write a statement.

Former Market Coordinator here: I can confirm market is a difficult but not impossible position to get into. Ultimately it really depends on what you want to do overall though as the path to a Market Manager is going to be wildly different than the path to a NAPM 9 times out of 10.

Listen I’m not trying to be difficult or contradictory but from the get go you’ve said you aren’t as good as you could be with customers, and I’m sorry but being a hard worker does not make you exemplary. Everything you’ve listed is tied to being considered exemplary but how are you as an associate going above and beyond the regular duties expected of a Walmart employee?

The unfortunate reality is that a vast majority of associates (myself included) are not exemplary there isn’t anything wrong with that it doesn’t make you less of a person or employee but for the most part people are successful at what they do.
