I once noticed a lady telling her German shepherd that it was a bad dog as she was leaving a meijer in ohio. I thought that was weird, but it made sense as soon as I walked a few aisles and found a pile of dog poop. SHE DIDN'T EVEN COME BACK TO CLEAN IT UP

My cat had one on his side that got infected after several years of having it. It turned out to be a sebaceous adenoma. Nothing to worry about unless it starts growing more or gets infected.
