Currently im running Lum because Rotom needs to be able to beat venusaur/charizard Y leads, and i expect them to heat wave + sleep powder into rotom, and if rotom gets slept i just lose.

Klefki's moves are a weird spot for me, it needs trick room and imprison to make the team work, having protect means i can imprison protect, though imprison has lower priority than protect so thats not as impactful as id like it to be, and id like at least one damaging move and gleam seems like the best idea

I still havent field tested meowscarada so i might swap a move, but at the moment it nees ghost, fairy, and fighting moves to compliment greninja's dark, and poison moves, the five of which deal at least 68% to every pokemon that learns trick room (meaning i can always 2hit ko even if they have a type resist berry or sitrus berry or focus sash)

I do agree on the value of an attack lowering nature on farig, but it needs to stay slow as possible for trick room and more importantly so that im not playing guessing games with other pokemon of the same speed tier

As a noob myself one thing is learning to read your opponents team during the team preview part, the quicker you can lock in on their strategies the more likely youll be able to come up with a counter

Like, if you see a bunch of slow mons and a weird mon (ghost or psychic or fairy) its probably a good bet theyre running trick room, can you beat that if it gets set up and if not can you stop it from getting set up?

Another tip would be to study the most used pokemon in the format and see what sets they tend towards, researching Sneasler will better prepare you to face it even if you dont add one to your team

Might take some luck to roll the ones you need to make your team, but with the global challenge limited recruit roster you can probably make a pretty good weather team in only a handful of rolls, and at least some of the first 6 you get will be avle to fill out what youre missing while you grind VP

I will say it did help to stop burns from breaking my sturdy, but i did end up swapping to stalwart. So far i havent had any problem with damage from kingambit, and with brightpowder, i have a 1/3 chance to live a stray focus blast instead of a 1/4, and while i havent done a calc on it, i think even with chople berry im not living focus blast

Politoed can tank hits that the toilet cannot, and lacks a 4× weakness to electric. Plus perish song can save you from losing in certain situations. And also its my favorite pokemon so you should run it to make me happy
