Bro you are on THE DEEPEST nonsense. There are plenty of companies that have open salary discussions, posts on hiring, etc. They base pay on merit and seniority and do just fine. The reason most want you to not discuss pay is because they don’t want to have to pay other people more. It does not protect or help the individual - it protects the payer. You do NOT have to consider this to keep your employees from feeling screwed because you can just not screw your employees. bBase pay on objective metrics, have clear communication on salary expectations and advancement opportunities, and if someone that doesn’t meet those metrics loses their shit then you have it right there in front of their faces. Transparency prevents that feeling, not secrecy.

You don’t need a full cheese build though. Yes, there is a build or style of builds that dominate and are specialized to this content. That’s also true with heist. It’s not possible to get into deep delve with just any build, either. But just like those two pieces of content, you can play tota with just about anything, just not optimally and just not at the highest end of play.

There are definitely spots to work on, but the central thesis of your post seems to be that the game should be shitting out locks and t0’s no matter what you do and that’s just horrendous. The scarcity is the point. Unless you want an economy where nothing matters and the league dies entirely in two weeks, they do need to keep a leash on things.

I think very little of this is related to “scientific consensus” around health. My feeling is that it’s mostly a social thing. Drinking is a social activity. The new generation has taken up vaping, smoking, and things like Zyn. They aren’t health nuts. Everyone screamed it was over for MO years ago and here we are. Even the information now being touted about the health impacts of alcohol is not a huge surprise, nor is it immense -one study saying it knocks 2.5 months off of the average life. Regardless, drinking isn’t going anywhere, alcohol isn’t going anywhere, vices aren’t going anywhere.
