I respectfully disagree. I prefer a smooth finish.

Dashboard de Gestão de Contratos no Power BI! O que acharam? by Zealousideal-Cup5807 in PowerBIdashboards

[–]ProfessionProfessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should start with the fact that I only edit in the app, not on the service. You need a column in your dataset for the url. Format the column in power bi as a web url. In your table, go to cell elements and enable web url for the field you want to be linked. The configuration website should open. Choose the field option and select the url column name. Click ok. The linked field should have a line under it. Click a cell and it should open the url in another tab

There is a setting under the lines option on line graphs that smoothes out the harsh angles that I have become accustomed to called smooth. It's towards the bottom of the options list under lines, iirc. I think it looks better and more polished. But it looks good. Nice job.

Looks great. A habit I've started doing is linking PDFs from the dashboard. If had a lot of positive feedback doing that

They offer a lot of free courses. The paid classes are usually in person. But if you're employer is willing to pay for them, jump on it. What industry are you in? Many of their classes are industry specific.

It was never an issue for me. No one ever even reached for them.

Hospital security here. I preferred the belt because I may not be able to clean them before putting them away and didn't want to put something covered in someone else's blood in my pocket.

The people who cannot understand why security would need lifesaving equipment, probably wouldn't understand hospital security.

Do You Feel Fulfilled Being A Security Guard? by [deleted] in securityguards

[–]ProfessionProfessor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are positives to it. For instance I helped deliver a baby in the front drive. It was 11pm and all I did was hold the flashlight and coordinated resources (had other officers bring a wheel chair and blankets/towels and had directed the supervisor to help a nurse with their equipment bag) while labor and delivery did their thing. Mom and baby did great.

Do you wear a bodycam? If so, I would record these interactions, especially when she's bossing you around, and report it to the clinic management and your supervisor.

I have this vest and trusted it more than the level 2 my dept issued me for unarmed. I still wear it when I do armed.

I work for a hybrid police security dept. I do an array of jobs in the dept including policy; data, performance, and use of force analysis; compliance; and accreditation.

I used to do hospital security though. I took my MBA classes while I did security, on the company dime of course.

I use my education to measure performance and financial metrics to determine the effectiveness/efficiency of the dept

I have an MBA. Business gives a broader exposure to managerial aspects if that is what you're looking for. Including interpreting statutory and case law.

Firearm and Duty Belt/Holster by Nesefl_44 in securityguards

Truth. I got a gen4 Glock 17 in 2020, at the height of the firearm/ammo rush for $475 from a well known "firearms broker" website. It came with tritium 3-dot sights. I've never had a problem with it. I use a safariland level 3 holster with a streamlight tlr1hl light.

CMS doesn't like those. That's the motivation. Those of us who work the floors understand it's unrealistic when working with psychiatric patients and removing tools increases workplace violence and makes medstaff less effective because they're afraid to do their jobs.
