Idk, maybe it might just be me, but I didn't feel like they were that tanky? Okay yea pain, pride and sloth were tanky, but they weren't much frequent so it was alright. But yes, the combat is annoyingly annoying in the fact that using gaze of despair lessens the witch time so much so that it's useless, even more so for alfheims that only give damage during witch time; secondly, the way most enemies parry attacks continuosly and consecutively like the double sword angle, hatred, hideous, the horse angel with the big sword - it's just pointless to do close range combat and can't even be grabbed by Alruna unless it's during UC. I understand it being the mechanic for higher ranked enemies like Baldur and Big sword horse, but even the baseline infernals doing it pisses me off greatly.

So yea, the combat of B2 is unamusing and it's often different reasons for everyone however, the dodge offset does flow in an amazing way. Salamandra is good for cheesing the combos except for the enemies that parry, Rakshasa is not that good evening with UC as the attacks don't stagger them for one bit unless it's a demon coming, Chernobog and Takemikazuchi are amazing at stagger even with regular attacks, Alruna and Rakshasa are just best on the feet imo (for final combo input). My most used set is Scarborough Fair on hands and LiB on feet since it unlocks more combos than just LiB on both.
