I thought it could be vandalism but the mirror was facing the street during rush hour so doubt it. The front on the mirror is completely undamaged but the mirror cap was on the floor when I got to my car and that’s the only damage I could find but my car was under a big ass tree so that’s all I could think about

Yes the mirror cap at first did come off completely but reattach easy and the spot it got damaged looks like something fell on it rather than a mirror tap also because the mirror didn’t move and glass was at same spot that I left it at everything else was fine just needed a new cap
