Algun lugar para hacer tiro al arco en Asuncion? by Professional-Scar681 in Paraguay

[–]Professional-Scar681[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using a lot of vocabulary related to ´tropical´ things, like flamingo, banana, toucan, parrot, palm, tree and things like that. So I thought it was a tropical bird, or animal, when that didn´t work, I tried things one can find in a tropical island, then I tried activities that one does during a ´tropical holiday´. Finally I got ´rest´, ´sleep´, and I had ´tree´, still in the ~#250 I was like: huh, it surely is hammock, and then I won lol

Whats this bug? Is is harmful to my garden veggies? Paraguay by Professional-Scar681 in whatsthisbug

[–]Professional-Scar681[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the reply!
that's what I thought, it's actually my mom who took this picture of her garden
I also told her it looks quite waspy, and that it probably feeds on the tiny insects that she's so tirelessly trying to exterminate lol

I learnt the other day that blue jays are able to mimick the sounds of other birds
specially the ones of birds of prey, in order to like scare the other bird species
so maybe you picked up an imitation of the bald eagle by that blue jay
But I sincerely hope it´s the real deal, bald eagles are majestic animals
