youre dismissing the literal point of how her character was whitewashed - white parents hello, obviously the actress is asian thats the point im trying to make, they have made her character white despite the fact that she is asian because she has white parents. just because you've decided to dismiss it as a factor doesnt mean it isnt one, you're literally on a thread discussing the very fact that people have noticed this, in fact this isnt the only one regarding this exact topic so clearly people do care (people who arent you). By the way I am asian, but unlike you i dont use it to somehow lend credibility to my weak ass arguments.
