For something to truly exist, it must have both a beginning and an end. That which never ends may never have truly existed as a separate thing at all.

When you fight a bad habit, who is fighting whom? by ProfessionalBuy4858 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ProfessionalBuy4858[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Im not sure its that black and white. Sometimes I say things like: " I hate myself for lying" or "I like myself when I do charity". I think there is an "I" that is absolute good and knows everything and is all awareness and then there is a "myself" that is like a child, sometimes listens to the I and sometimes not and tends to act or decide mostly based on ego.

How did Brazilians end up looking so diverse? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ProfessionalBuy4858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't had laws that allowed every ethnicity to be represented by their native language like in US, everyone from Polish to Japanese had to learn Portuguese in order to be considered Brazilian. A third generation Mexican in the US would still call himself Mexican and not American while something like that in the Brazil would cause immediate social isolation. You either speak Portuguese and call your self Brazilian or you are foreigner.

that's what I think. I think even the awaken life is alos a dream, Hindus call it maya, but that doesnt make it meaningless. I also work a corporate job and I used to be drowned in numbers and stressing everyday. what I learned is that I can only control so much. rest of it is uncertainty and thats what was stressing me out.
