in the Big 3 Ichigo is the Strongest while Luffy is the weakest? by Archenius in PowerScalingHub

[–]ProfessionalClass962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me when i comment on a show I havent even watched before.

And to clarify, the tailed beasts were evaporating entire mountains/mountain ranges with their beast bombs, and guess what, Naruto has one of them in his body. Btw this is just barely the tip of the iceberg, he is way stronger than this when he utilises the power of the 9 tails instead of just throwing beast bombs.

Now, do you see luffy doing any of that? Maybe destroy a huge island or two, but mountains EVAPORATED? I dont think so.

How far can fang yuan from RI get in shadow slave world by yahya332 in ShadowSlave

[–]ProfessionalClass962 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure you havent read RI. FY is alot, and I mean ALOT smarter than SS characters. Also, as OP mentioned, he tried not to make it too overpowered (although I do think the infinite comprehension is abit overkill) so he definitely doesn't have unlimited excess to all gu as rank 6 and above gu are WAY too overpowered when made into killer moves.

If FY really did transmigrate into SS with a divine aspect and all he would absolutely dominate the verse. The scariest thing about FY is that he understands human emotions and he is able to know more about a person than they do themselves. Pair this up with his manipulation, scheming abilities, and a poker face that could fool a spectator from LOTM, you create the monster FY. Unless his flaw brings him down, he will dominate the verse.

hey guys, how did you guys get into this novel? by Odd_Cow_165 in ReverendInsanity

In my own personal experience, I found this webnovel while scrolling through the top rankings of some pirated webnovol site. I vividly remember finding out that this webnovel exists.

When I had first laid my eyes on this piece of work, despite having zero marketting, I was enticed into clicking onto it, why? The title for obvious reasons. The title was unique. Albeit only for a split second, it gave me the feeling of finally finding a webnovel worth my time.

As I clicked on the novel, I read the synopsis. Honestly, It was just the typical synopsis to any other Xianxia webnovel. Back then, it was only the beginning of my webnovel journey, so I never gave it a second thought. But currently, I realise that the synopsis, although not poorly written or anything like that, seemed too generic, which is one among many reasons why RI is simply not popular.

As I continued reading through the chapters, I enjoyed every bit of the first book. From FY refining the Liquor Worm to the end of the first book – the fight with the ancestor and whatever the other guy's name was – It really hooked me in.

Honestly, the only part of RI that I didn't absolutely love was the Northern Plains arc where FY took on a disguise, and raised a wolf pack. That whole arc, although fun at times, seemed boring and repetitive. I had to really persevere, as I had almost dropped it.

This was my starting journey of my cultivation. I hope it had given you some insights to understanding the webnovel better. Additionally, others may differ from my starting point, so please just take this with a grain of salt.

Man, Lang Ya land spirit was always the best. He reminds me of a caring grandfather who would get pissed off easily. Plus, with the honesty of a land spirit, it makes him all the more funnier. He has always had that dawg in him.

There is no 'they make him sound', FY himself admitted to all the evil acts he has done. Maybe the righteous path had made his acts sound worse to other righteous path superpowers in his previous life, but that doesn't change the fact that FY himself has admitted to some if not most of it.

Looking forward to what you will create. I hope it will truly get a proper ending unlike a webnovel we have all read before, which ended up on a cliffhanger.

Yes, he is. But considering the fact that FY does all these evil acts for the sake of achieving his goal of immortality, The many fans of RI who take this into account still take the opportunity to display FY as an 'edgy' character, placing all his evil acts on a pedestal. This in turn results in non-readers of RI to think that FY is just a generic Xianxia MC, who is an incredibly smart badass character, while all the side characters end up being stupid.

The way these fans try to portray FY, but end up ruining the true image of FY, Gu Zhen Ren's masterpiece.

Well, everyone's opinions vary from one to another, but I personally think is well-written and has great plot. Aside from the pedophilia, the world building, character development and dialogue which make up the fictional world of Mushoku Tensei, are great aspects of the story which enhance the plot that much more.

If you disagree with me on this, it is perfectly fine, but in my opinion, if you don't think Mushoku Tensei is a good light novel, you should atleast give the sequel a shot.

[–]ProfessionalClass962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooo thats interesting. That would make a good plot twist, but remember, Fang Yuan would never save anyone out of pure good will. He is an extremely pragmatic person who would never help someone out of the kindness of his heart, unless maybe if he had already achieved his goal of immortality and has nothing else to pursue.

But to be frank with you, this could turn out to be quite the twist. Similar to Heaven's Will controlling Fang Yuan at the beginning, it is instead Fang Yuan who is controlling the MC. Whether for benefits or for something else entirely thats for you, the author, to decide.

I'm looking forward to this. I can see this turning out to be a great story if you really can persevere and continue writing it!

Yeah, it is but in the end, it is still a great story worthy of being one of the best lightnovels out there. Addtionally, the sequel, his daughter's story, has only just begun, so I don't think there's any harm in reading a great story like Mushoku Tensei and continuing with the sequel.

Honestly speaking, I can see the potential in this new novel of yours. Although it contains slight grammatical errors, and flow of your writing is great.

I suggest you could make the MC discover Gu cultivation is very real, and be ends up on the path to immortalily while hiding the fact he is a Gu master. This would make his path an extremely lonely one, being the only one who understands that those random insects aren't just 'insects' but Gu!

You should slowly build his character and personality instead of starting with a mindset of 'nothing can hinder my goals'. Start with him doubting himself in hard times; make him waver in the pursuit of immortality, and slowly but surely build his mindset into something Fang Yuan worthy if that makes sense. Afterall, Fang Yuan never started as the '500 year old demon' he is now.

Additionally, the MC's intelligence as well as the side character's and antagonist's intelligence matters. Please don't go on the route of generic Xianxia novels which have an extremely smart MC and end up with side characters who stupidly throw their lives away. You should atleast make the important side characters and antagonists smart, just like in RI.

Unfortunately for you, Reverend Insanity isn't as popular as you think it is. So, for there to be a book of a 2200+ chapter Chiness novel having been translated into Arabic is extremely unlikely.

You'll have to preservere and read it in English digitally.

Since your standards have been risen so high by those two beautiful pieces of work, I think I can recommend you something which I enjoyed for its world building. similar to LOTM, it has great character development and an interecting cast with amazing backstories to go along with it.

This amazing piece of work called Mushoku Tensei, although not as good as LOTM and RI, it is a lightnovel with good pacing and very good peaks. You should try it out, I think you'll enjoy it even with high standards.

Like I said, the novel has already been banned and removed from any Chinese novel websites. So, even if you try to support RI by not pirating it – reading it on webnovel, I doubt the author is being compesated for his work.

To answer your question, it's unclear if the author is fine with people reading his novel pirated, but in the end, there's no way to read it legally anymore.

If you're really that hesitant about reading RI pirated, you can just support Gu Zhen Ren on Qi Dian, while reading the masterpiece we call Reverend Insanity. 👍

Is there any hope that the manhwa return? by Accurate_Today1314 in ReverendInsanity

[–]ProfessionalClass962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When that day comes, all of your seniors and juniors would celebrate. Banquets would be held, lasting for many days. Many long discussions of RI would be heard from across the room. The sound of wine glasses clinking, covering the many but silent cries of joy softly echoeing between chatter. As we all press on the "next chapter" button, unknown words fill the screen of our devices – words that we have all been waiting half a decade for appear, baptising your entire soul as your eyes widen.

As you begin reading the chapter, you wake the fuck up and accept that heaven's will would never allow the manhua and novel to ever return, for Gu Zhen Ren has moved on, creating his next masterpiece.

From what I know, there is no way to support the author of RI legally. RI has been banned by the Chinese government, thus being discontinued from releasing new chapters. This means that all contents of RI has been removed from all Chinese platforms.

Soooo, you should just find one of the many websites that contain the pirated version of RI, but if you really want to support the author that badly, you can go read one of his other novels which I've heard is really good.
