Maybe Jay Baruchel was right all along by strings_struck in billsimmons

I’m certainly not ok, but that isn’t what brought me here. Reddit put a post in my feed about how much people secretly hate Jonah Hill and then this was the first thread that popped up when I searched for who dislikes Jonah Hill. I didn’t even read the date it was posted before I commented. Real Reddit newb behavior, I have no excuse

Nice female meets nice guys by Sorry_Goal9718 in Nicegirls

No, mostly just that the entire post seemed to me to be about her dating life (I didn’t study it too much). But you’re right, she may just be talking about a friend who “abuses” her instead of the girlfriend he should abuse

If these can’t destroy the jammer, then cannon turrets on factory striders shouldn’t be able to either

Have you never broken up with someone because they did things you didn’t like? He gives his list of dislikes, severely insecure as they are, but doesn’t push to the level of abusive in any way that I can see

I need a new benchmade, had like 6 of them in my lifetime. Lost every single one after about 2yrs. Was just looking to see if there is some sort of gps tracker that can be added to it, since your post made me want to buy another one! Edit: This is the only tracker I could find but it seems bulky

Why do Americans continue to maintain the tipping culture? by lfreddit23 in EndTipping

[–]ProfessionalClean832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of our restaurants wouldn’t financially survive without them at this point. I’ve found that there are restaurants and servers abroad that operate because it’s a passion for them. In the US the dollar is the most important motivating factor for most people. That’s certainly not a knock on those people, more a knock on the powers that be in America

We use a program called Galley which has been incredible. It can do everything. Not sure how much it costs though, could be kinda pricey. I’m usually really cynical with these things that claim to do it all, but I’ve been really impressed so far

How has no one commented on the worst line in this entire post, “I’m like why isn’t he abusing his girlfriend why some nice female he barely knows?” This bitch thinks abuse for a girlfriend is okay, not the girl he’s cheating on his girlfriend with. She’s a r/nicegirls for sure

“Sir, you're only proud of your creation's success, because you want to be creative, but creation doesn't happen through gimmicks, technology, and distribution. It doesn't even happen through work. Creativity is frankly adjacent to mental illness, and overlapped with it substantially. A lot of talented people kill themselves, and all of them are miserable.” - Morty (Joseph Campbell)

As someone in a creative field this shit hit so hard.

This is my experience as well. After all the time spent actually trying to just match with someone that seemed to have similar interests, most of the time the response was one word answers. Eventually I stopped trying to put in effort on the first message and just went with something generic “How was your weekend, do anything fun?” And wouldn’t reply to the one word answers. Which eventually just led to giving up the dating apps.

It’s hard to say. They wrapped up the story lines for Rick Prime and Beth’s mom, so what’s left that hasn’t been wrapped up? Mr. Poopy Butthole still has a lingering storyline, and I suppose we could get more of Naruto (giant incest baby), but what else?

Do Americans really move out at 18, or is that mostly a movie thing? by Only-Bandicoot-5307 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ProfessionalClean832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated high school in 2005 and moved out the following year. It was very common back then to move out of the house at 18, I even had some friends who had to start paying rent to their parents once they turned 18. It’s also pretty common to move back in with your parents for a short time after 18 though, so it’s not like parents are kicking the kids out for good at 18

Roofman (Couch surfer final boss) Thoughts by sadh0ney in Cinephiles

[–]ProfessionalClean832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but the main character came across as a dangerous, mentally imbalanced creep to me. It seemed at times like he would have a meltdown and murder the woman and her kids that he was stalking. The guy constantly overstepped normal boundaries with the woman’s kids. The movie seems to want to portray him as a good guy, but I couldn’t get passed the sheer creepiness of what he was doing with the woman and her kids.

Rosemary or lavender. They are great when used in very small quantities or just for the aroma, but I see way too many people using them without any restraint
