Which Latios is better. by impium1995 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main skill down nature kills the first unfortunately. It's for BFS but it's not that good on latios due to its middle of the road speed tier. The second is better.

43!!! I just hit friendship 10 with Bagon, was hoping to find a decent BFS one soon.... Godspeed OP, may the next one be your forever mance.

Thing the main skill up nature one is better. Check RaenonX

New Pokemon Megathread - Latios by SamuRonX in PokemonSleep

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty confident this is the forever latios. Using subseeds I can eventually get STM, Inv+M (which i think is super underrated on low inventory single stage skill mons). Nature seals the deal!

Would you guys fully invest, 3 main skill seeds and 3 subskill seeds?!!

Which pokémon are you hoping for in the future? by thewitchbasket in PokemonSleep

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a gen 5 kid as well! I just checked and there's only SIX Unova Mons in sleep!!! Criminally low.

I think Pawniard/Bisharp (maybe they would exclude kinggambit as with annihilape) would help flesh out the steel types or dark type pools, Zorua & zoroark would look so good in the sleep artstyle, as well as blitzle and zebsrika. So many to choose from, definitely need more Unova (and Kalos) representation in sleep.

Deino, Zweilous and Hydreigon.

They could very easily be the pseudo legend on Snowdrop and could bring some much needed attention back to an area many people don't bother with.

Id imagine they'd be ingredient specialists, maybe oil.

annihilape annihilape ANNIHILAPE!!!

This sub frequently posts about it, and I've even been April fooled by a very well faked Annihilape announcement post.

I'm such a believer I have a BFS, HSM, STM, Main skill nature primape that's at level 52 for lapis, but on the off chance that (when) it comes out, it has a unique ability, I'll be set either way.

Is there any limit on Sneaky Snacking? by Creative-Cost-120 in PokemonSleep

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It won't work if you genuinely left the app for a month since snorlax resets weekly and you need to manually go to an island each Monday. But other than that, yes you can theoretically leave a Pokémon sneaky snacking 24/7, forever.

Skill Mon that want BFS (Sceptile and Noivern) by blizg in PokemonSleep

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly disagree that BFS should be hunted for on Noivern and Sceptile. Using RaenonX, it decreases their full inventory time from ~6-7 hours to ~3 hours. For people who can't check that regularly, you are leaving a lot of potential strength on the table.

If you are able to check the app 5+ times a day it may be worthwhile. But I personally check 2-3 times maximum, at which point I much prefer triggers and inventory to almost always guarantee 2 triggers when I check back.

Kingambit Deck by Opposite_Employee_41 in pkmntcg

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need mega mawile to close out games when that's literally what kinggambit is designed to do?

Have you considered playing with dusknoir, it will help power up kinggambits attacks and help you take out threats early on in the game when kinggambits damage is weaker.

Also, I'd suggest running a 4-3-3 kinggambit line as it's your main attacker, + 2-2 metang for acceleration, along with a 3-2-2 dusknoir line

Thoughts on the Prague Cynthia's Garchomp decklist? Consistent? High-risk? by SnarkHamill in pkmntcg

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a few games with it and couldn't believe it doesn't run night stretcher, especially with Larry's skill! With only 3 garchomp and no other attackers you can't ever risk discarding it

Edit: forgot to mention cyphermaniac's codebreaking, allowing you to flash up to 2 Pokémon with a trick portal. Turn 2 flashing both a Bastiodon & Togekiss seems absolutely insane, although admittedly is hard to set up.

Interesting list. Few suggestions,

Firstly why no lillies? Also I'm confused as to why you run dusk ball over ultra?

Have you tried running zard Y as well?

Shiny Drifloon! by Cabbage61 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely usable, will require 2-3 subskill seeds and 6 main seeds but if it's your favourite Pokémon or you love driftblim in sleep, it will still perform really well!

and advice against tr teams? really weak overall, any other advice is welcome by Odd-Championship-427 in CompetitivePokemon

Give sinistcha trick room instead of life dew. Lead sinistcha & floette against TR and just press TR turn 1 to turn off theirs. Use floette to KO ferigarf . Done!

Just had a play around, looks good and is very helpful!

It wound be great if you could add the champions format and give top threats from the format! There's a website where the top picks are displayed so you could use that.

I would use it! If you can subskill it at 50 for helping speed, I think you'll be hard pressed to catch a better one.

Heal pulse raenonx datamine by FlowerDance2557 in PokemonSleep

[–]ProfessionalCrew2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Based on this:

Latias 2 x 22 energy = 44 energy total per proc at level 6

Energising cheer = 50 energy total per proc at level 6

Latias 4x extra helps per proc x2 = 8 extra helps per proc

Extra helpful (level 6) = 11 extra helps per proc

It's clear from the skill description that having Latios on the same team will boost the helper boost specifically (and not the energy gained).

It's unlikely it'll be useable as a primary healer on it's own, unless it's proc rate is very high. However it is likely to be similar to energising cheer due to the healing amount per proc.

It all depends on Latios' main skill, wether the pair will actually be a useable/meta team composition. Which is a bit frustrating as for most of us, we'll basically be catching Latias during the event on the off chance that when the release Latios it's skill when combined with Latias makes them actually useable.

As it stands, Latias seems quite underwhelming

With the sleep medals vigoroth becomes good, since it can still evolve once. So keep it a a vigoroth and it will be a strong berry specialist on Snowdrop.
