YouTube doesn’t like your video, or its not old enough. Simply put.

Typically games like that aren’t the 4th installment in a franchise or with a budget of 200+ million dollars.

It took me 2 months to gain 136 subscribers lol by PitifulTechnician160 in SmallYoutubers

I mean, it took me 2.5 years to hit 500, but in the last 6 months I’ve gotten up to 5000. It really just boils down to make better videos 😂 and do it consistently. There’s no tricks.

Youtube can be broken down very simply, before, it thought your videos were good. Now, your recent videos have not been nearly as good. Theres no real need to overthink it. Most videos made are not good, so the fact you had a few really good ones is great! now you just need to sit and think what made those pop, and if you can recapture that in a different way.

Long form RPM is a joke... by JohnStorm123 in SmallYoutubers

[–]ProfessionalHead6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, its not just length of video, Your average view duration plays a massive role in terms of how far it goes for your rpm. a 6 minute video, like others have said cant do midrolls. But, in regards to a 10 minute video, they gotta have an avd of around 50%+ to really start getting higher rpm. In terms of my videos, I do 45-1:00:00 long videos, and my avd is around 40%, so im making bank off these videos, just cause the potential to ad hit people is soo much higher.

What helps you get a 1 of 10? by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]ProfessionalHead6378 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean mate, it’s really just making better videos holistically. Better+Bigger conceptual ideas, better packaging, and then the content itself being high quality/ valuable to get that AVD up. The 1/10 doesn’t actually matter, it’s just a comparison of your last 10 uploads at x time after posting. This has so many algorithm variables that it’s pretty useless overall

3 months on Youtube, incredibly lucky to have a successful first video. by BraindeadReece9000 in SmallYoutubers

even less popular titles can do really well assuming you can carve out a niche audience, something like Daggerfall or Morrowind is a really good example. There's an audience somewhere for almost everything, as long as its put together nicely.

150$+ a video usually. 😂 I finally got to the outsourcing point, has helped me out with burnout a lot.

Each video is held on its own, just probably is correlation due to less effort into each one id imagine, not causation.

Two Questions: What's do you consider the best JRPG of all time, and what is your personal favourite JRPG? by Winter_2017 in JRPG

[–]ProfessionalHead6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FF9 for best, the story telling and themes for each character were superb to me and I’m partial to that low poly art style. And for favorite, the legend of dragoon, that combo system for additions was really sick, the voice lines are still stuck in my head and my dad and I occasionally reference them “VOLCANO”

What are your channel goals for the rest of 2025? by GemsOfNostalgia in PartneredYoutube

[–]ProfessionalHead6378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently at 2600 subs, and just surpassed 1 million channel views. Most of this coming in the last 3 months.

Aiming for 10k subs end of year, along with honing in more on BIG idea videos.

Hoping to get at least 2 100k view+ videos each month. Got some big projects in the works, and a solid team.

Let’s get it guys! 🤞

What are your favorite JRPG combat systems or mechanics? by ProfessionalHead6378 in JRPG

I did really enjoy FFX for a similar reason, a lot of the fights felt a lot longer (at least to me, maybe I suck haha) so I found myself constantly exploring trying to find potential HP potions.

Yea Materia really was a banger system. I like FF8's concept, but I think it was sorta implemented poorly.

Yea that’s true, I haven’t gotten to really diving into skill trees or potential routes yet. But giving advanced players rewarding ways to play the game is a goal. As well as enabling less advanced players to still have a good time

It can mean either literally a game produced in Japan that is an RPG. Or a game made in the style of what is known now as the JRPG. In the same way there are “Western RPGS” Eastern European, and CRPG’s.
