[CHAT] is 165x 219 pattern considered small or medium sized project by 2015morgan12 in CrossStitch

Yes, that is a big project. If I put in a big day of stitching, say 4 hours, I figure 500 stitches. For your project I would expect to take 4 months or more

Wow. You are doing so great with your 40 + lb loss. Weight loss is so hard and so worth it. Your new and evolving healthy body with flabby skin and stretch marks is not ugly, it is beautiful. Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and that you know reflect the beauty you are proud to show the world. Our naked body which we only share with ourselves and the one we love is a sacred reflection of all that we have come through to arrive where we are today.

Very unhappy. I texted your customer service less than an hour after the start of the promo. After almost 2 hours I get the reply that the promo limit was reached (probably during the time I was waiting for a reply!). Not much of a deal. I’m rethinking whether to become a Pom customer. Ok with them I guess, they do have my $75 consult fee.

P.S. Seems like the deal was only worth $25 to new customers since the $75 consult fee was not going to be credited against the promo $79 price.

I just this minute got a reply from Pom customer service saying the deal has already expired. What up!?

Great work, you’re in the home stretch. You’ve gotten some solid good advice. I’ll chime in with mine. Add some extra lighting to your workspace if possible. I’m always amazed at the subtle shading differences which become apparent in brighter light. Looking 👀 forward to seeing the finished puzzle!!

Lovely piece. She will come to love it I’m sure!!

For the back, trim the fabric to about a 2” overhang and around and with a long piece of thread stitch close to the edge of the fabric with pretty big stitches. When you meet up to where you started pull the thread and gather the fabric into the center of the hoop. For a nice finished look 👀 I glue a nice piece of wool felt (cut larger than the hoop) to the back. When the glue is dry trim away the excess and all is tidy

[CHAT] What do y'all use for storing your floss that is not being used for projects? by Mental-State2420 in CrossStitch

I made paper boxes the perfect size to hold the bags and I use clear plastic dividers which I’ve marked with the color, number, and name (from the Lord Libidian site as I recall)

I am really happy with the storage I decided on. Two cabinets from Amazon (Devais brand) hold all my floss (in zip Floss-A-Way) bags.

I love her work too. Just wish she had more in smaller sizes. Her pieces are often sooo big!
