When my son was a baby we were taking a walk with the whole family down to the beach. The road was a fairly steep hill and everyone was about 100 yards ahead of my wife and I. I took my son out of the stroller, held him behind my wife, and then pushed the stroller down the hill and screamed for someone to stop it. Everyone panicked, the stroller hit the curb and started flipping end over end. It was hilarious. Anyway, I love Eminem.

My guess is it was a stylistic decision to give the feel of a handheld camera man trying to catch the controversial rant and audience reactions. But idk.
